Sasaki pitched in the WBC against the best in the world including major leaguers so he's much more of a proven commodity. And the team he played for not only matched an all-star ML team but they beat them to win the WBC. Josuar is nowhere near as proven being just 17 and never having faced any major league talent. And how many other supposed next-big international signings have we made that went nowhere? Guys like Luciano and Fox and the others you mentioned. So if given the choice, I would definitely choose Sasaki over Gonzales. Sadly, we likely won't get Sasaki though, so Josuar would be our only fallback internationally, however big of a fall from Sasaki that may be.
