I will NEVER understand why this BARBARIC custom STILL lives in 2020...I expected the human race to be more educated and straight forward now than some hundred years ago. Also keep in mind that animal by-products are in cosmetics, perfume, toiletries (shampoo etc), moisturiser, even some medication and many more products. Always check for cruelty free (not tested on animals) and free from animal by-products. People would be amazed at the amount of stuff with animal by-products in there. Vegan all the way!👍❤

It's mainly a cultural difference though - In Asia it's normal, but in America, dogs are like family to most humans, and it would be like akin cannibalism to ever feast on a dog. I think the saddest thing about this video is that this dog farm is more humane than typical American meat/dairy farms. Humans need to find more humane and natural ways to raise and farm livestock.

Look, my personal opinion: I would never eat any dog or cat meat. For me personaly it's against my morals. But is that a reason to end it? Well... If we end dog and cat meat trade because it's animal cruelity, why are we still letting cows and piggs and such being farmed, eaten and sold. People would say that that's because dogs and cats are pets, but some people also see cos and such as pets. What's the differens between a dog and a cow? It's kind of hypocritical to sit here yelling that they shouldn't eat dogs and cats anymore because it's animal cruelity, and then be going home to find a steak on your plate and not complain abaut it at all. The reason we don't make a problem out of the meat is because it's normal to us, we've been tought that that's food just like we've been tought that dogs and cats are pets. Technicaly all animals are the same. Just my personal take on this. But once again, wouldn't eat them myself.

I think the saddest thing about this video is that this dog farm is more humane than typical American meat/dairy farms. Humans need to find more humane and natural ways to raise and farm livestock.
I wish I can see an average farm you're talking about. But people hide this stuff cuz they don't wanna stop eating beef or pork, and because they don't eat dogs, they will show all the "brutal scenes"

A South Korean judge ruled dog meat consumption to be illegal, but there isn't enough law in place to ban dog farming/slaughtering/trades.
China banned dog meat trades (actually all household pet animals) in 2008~2009, but no law in place to fully ban dog meat consumption. So while they've been cracking down on dog meat farms & people can't legally sell dog meat openly, illegal slaughtering/consumption still happen. However, most people don't eat dog meat. Yulin city/township being an exception. This law also sparked many dog meat traders to start stealing pet dogs & snatching strays to sell. These aren't the only two countries that have people who eat dog meat. Even in countries where dog meat consumption is banned. That said, don't project the atrocities of some people onto the entire races and cultures of people. Focus on saving the animals, leave the biases, stereotypes and xenophobia out. Thank you.
Young generation between 20-30 age in korea does not eat dog these days as most of them are westernized. It became a old men's food.
As a young Korean myself, I think it is disgusting to eat a dog. Trust me after like 20 years when our old generation die, nobody here would eat a dog.

Its good that they are saving lives but why do they have to go all the way to Korea to save only a few dogs? I mean there are hundreds of slaughterhouses everywhere in America???
In order to make people donate they have to do this. It is all about money. Korean government and Koreans can do the job. They do not need americans or other foreigners. Also more and more dog farmers are getting volunteered to shut down their farms. Humane society just gets the permission from korean government and farmers to get the dogs out. Otherwise they are breaking the laws and tresspassing and stealing someone else's properties.

Look, my personal opinion: I would never eat any dog or cat meat. For me personaly it's against my morals. But is that a reason to end it? Well... If we end dog and cat meat trade because it's animal cruelity, why are we still letting cows and piggs and such being farmed, eaten and sold. People would say that that's because dogs and cats are pets, but some people also see cos and such as pets. What's the differens between a dog and a cow? It's kind of hypocritical to sit here yelling that they shouldn't eat dogs and cats anymore because it's animal cruelity, and then be going home to find a steak on your plate and not complain abaut it at all. The reason we don't make a problem out of the meat is because it's normal to us, we've been tought that that's food just like we've been tought that dogs and cats are pets. Technicaly all animals are the same. Just my personal take on this. But once again, wouldn't eat them myself.
I will add however that animals should be treated right in thspe facilitys where they are bread for consumption. Those verry unhealthy and masive farms are ofcourse not ok.
