That 75 GBP per person is a robbery. That is pure income for Charles which they should give back to tax payers. I would never pay that much.
It does go back to the state/taxpayers, in fact royal tourism alone returns more monies to the state than what is given to them for security and visiting dignitaries, world leaders, etc. They also cause/create nearly 3 billion dollars a year for the UK economy, employ thousands of people AND they pay income tax as well.
It will go towards the upkeep of the palace. If you don’t want to pay it then fine. The tickets are all sold out so many others think it’s worth it.
I don’t like the style but it sure is amazing. That chandelier is something else. If that’s what it’s even called. lol
Takes a whole lot of people to run that castle. If I was there I’d go sure !
