- A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket takes off from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center and then the two side boosters return for a landing at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station during the USSF-67 mission as filmed from the beach in Cocoa Beach, Florida in 4k Ultra HD.
The two side boosters were B1065 and B1065 and the center core booster was B1070. B1064 and B1065 flew for the second time and this was the first flight for B1070.
Filmed January 15th, 2023 at 5:56 pm EST in 4k UHD.
The return of those two is more spectacular than the launch, amazing feat!
All part of a days work for Space X now.
NASA May never get to this point.
Damn right!
Possibly one of the most important engineering feats of this century, amazing.
Wait -- people watch SpaceX for their launches?! 😉
And people say these things are faked all whilst being filmed by fans of space. Amazing footage!
Finally someone filmed the boosters from launch to landing. Amazing!
And kept filming long enough to hear the sonicbooms
amazing
They actually missed the turnaround
Superb camera work ! The boomerangs came back for perfect landings.
Your work is worthy of an Oscar... Filming this sort of stuff is incredibly challenging, but you've made it look so easy. Thanks a million for sharing it with us. It is awe inspiring stuff.
Thank you! That is incredibly flattering! I'm glad you liked it!
LOOOOL
Still gives me chills that this is happening in our lifetimes.
Thank you for letting us see your brilliant footage from the launch of Falcon Heavy - Coco Beach looks a great location.
Man, this is soooo AMAZING... It's like SCI - FI.... but better....
Winter launch and recovery is SO much better than Summer. We could see the booster's maneuvering thrusters flashing all the way up in central NC from Morrow Mountain State park summit. Great experience.
Would love to see a Falcon Heavy flying up the coast from NC. Maybe some launch will later on, but most fly due East to get into geosynchronous orbit.
@@rosswarren436 another launch is scheduled for Wed 7:10AM. Falcon 9 and should be visible.
@@rodmauldin yep, this GPS 3 SV06 flight is right at a good time...Not sure of the launch azimuth. But it might put on a show low in the southern sky. Fingers crossed for clear weather.
@@rosswarren436Launch azimuth is around 38 degrees northeast.
@@rosswarren436 they fly east to not incinerate a city on failure, LEO, MEO, GEO, and the rest....except ofc polar, that's VSFB: southbound.
GREAT Coverage...!!! THANKS For Posting.. 😊👍
This was some AMAZING camera work! Fantastic! (and the launch and return wasn't bad either!) Thanks for continuing the roll until the booms came in!!!
Damn! You really nailed that entire launch and landing. Really one of the best I have seen and you waited to record the shock waves to boot. Thanks!
can we get a timestamp on the shocks?
@@DrDeuteron 8:08 and 8:14 will guide you in with just 4 seconds to wait.
@@chrisbodum3621 thx. Last video I saw had them mid-flight, didn't expect them after landing.
I wonder why it took to long the sound to arrive there haha
No hi didn't nail the entire thing... @G Marie
Who should have thought back when they launched the first rocket that we’d have rockets that go up into space come back and land themselves!
The only continuous film(so far) from launch to land with the same camera.
Amazing work.
There are multiple other examples here on youtube.
@@MeerkatADV There werent any, before this launch.
@@KoushikPaulliveandletlive Here's one from a year ago, by literally the same person... ua-cam.com/video/UZ-wW__V0a4/v-deo.html
@@KoushikPaulliveandletlive Here's one from three years ago of the very first Falcon Heavy Launch. ua-cam.com/video/uLCXn445-eQ/v-deo.html
@@MeerkatADV In that case I have to admit I was wrong. I used to think I follow enough rocket launch, I guess that is not the case. Thanks for your help. Cheers mate !
That was incredibly beautiful! Thank you so much!
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for capturing this footage.
We watch from Melbourne. Awesome sight, especially the return of the boosters.
Much respect...extraordinary photography!
A couple of things stand out in this video -
1. The camera work was 1st class.
2. There was no unnecessary yelling, applause or "oh my gaaaahhhhhddddd!" nonsense.
Well done!
Excellent camera work. Thanks for sharing!
Buck Rogers LIVES.... Thanks for posting.
thank you sir that was beautiful !!
Best launch video I've seen. Thanks.
And yet some still think this is fake… amazing video, thank you
Just so exciting hearing that double sonic boom in the end. Dang you guys are so lucky!! Great footage 👍
it was like In & Out: a double double.,
One of the best SpaceX launches till now.
Outstanding camera work.
Thanks!!
That is obscenely cool!
My day! kudos to the camera like no other. Best footage at another angle from SpaceX.
sometimes it's cool to see the non cinematic versions!
Never gets old
Thanks for sharing absolutely amazing good job SpaceX
great job dude! u got it all in one shot. Better than some big boy youtubers with their fancy cameras lol
Beautiful camera skills, thanks for the amazing view
Incredible footage! Thanks for sharing!
I saw this vividly from Fort Lauderdale. Even briefly saw the boosters coming back down. Really awesome!
Video?
When the rockets launch east, we can see them from Miami which is 200 miles south! Specially around and after sunset!
One of the best videos of this subject matter ever done.
Excellent work - steady hand, framing..
Thanks for sharing. Amazing views!
What an amazing perspective, thank you!
TY for the share. We were at Manatee Hammock Campground and got to watch this with a baby crying nearby.
Never old when view the booster land. Congrats SpaceX
I have never seen a launch from THAT perspective down the coast ...
Fantastic coverage.
thank you
Excellent video capture! I watched it from SB and regretted not videoing it. It was a near perfect golden-hour lit launch and those plumes were absolutely incredible… like a giant jellyfish in space. Nice work, neighbor. 👍
My go to video to show SpaceX awesome
Thank-you for sharing
Bucket list moment!
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job filming, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I’m absolutely blown away by your amazing video. And thanks SpaceX for making the impossible possible!
Beautiful photography!
Well done! Thank you.
Wow, very nice footage of the launch and landing. Thanks for sharing this.
I was on base and I think you still had a better view from Cocoa Beach. Either way it was a great launch. And an awesome mission.
Amazing! Well done. Thanks 🙏🏼
Great..great job getting this. it was great footage to share with everyone. Thanks so much!
Thanks a lot, man. You delivered!🙏👍😁
The best video I've seen of Space X! Spectacular coverage! Mainly because of the clear skies launch and to the landing of the rocket boosters! The sounds of the waves hitting beach made it even better.
WOW!!! absolutely amazing! Loved the return of those SRB’s….awesome…great camera work!!
Stunning
Thanks for posting. Great vid.
spacex has become a space flight treasure for America.
Now that's coverage I've never seen from other youtubers. Keep making more of these! You have another subscriber.
Absolutely better views than the rest.
yeah the youtubers sometimes make it so cinematic sometimes its cool to see it without its makeup on
i remember watching from the bridge when john glenn took off back in 97 right there in cocoa beach!
Great coverage, watched it go up here in Sarasota and the separation as well as some of the re entry burns. Absolutely spectacular !
What a show! Hopefully I'll get to watch a launch in person one of these days. Thanks for the vid sir
Well done America. Cheers from France
This is a very good example of how the private sector can do things better and cheaper and quicker than the government could ever imagine .
That's some amazing camera tracking. Thanks for sharing. Nice work.
Thank You! Best reality ever!!!
I only watched the technical perspective of this you know the Nasa Live etc... and I'm glad I saw this video to see the audience perspective, and both gives you different feelings! Thank you for this!🙃
Bravo pour cette vidéo ce n ''était pas évident de suivre les deux boosters jusqu'à bout mais vous êtes arrivé.
Merci pour le partage.
Go Spacex!
What a location to witness this! Thank you for sharing!
Your vid looks great as always.. I saw it perfectly up here in Jax. The Boost Back Burn was amazing and I was able to see the Entry Burn as well. I have never seen that up here before. I imagine if I had of been at the beach I may have seen the landing burn. I put up a vid of my view up here. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful capture, really excellent job, making most of the fabulous recording conditions.
Super work, so difficult but you kept it sweet, got a little lost at the end but still fabulous thanks so much
This is awesome, thank you
Thank you for sharing pretty cool
From a kid trying in vain to see Sputnik flying across the night sky to this and the other amazing accomplishments humanity has made n space flight - it NEVER gets old and always amazes. Awesome job SpaceX
Spectacular video. Keep the good work. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work, thx for sharing. 👍🚀🚀
Oh man, I feel for you. Trying to see those boosters on a small screen must have been tough near the end. Very nicely done, though! What an awesome experience! Thank you for sharing!
Well done! Great camera work.
Thanks!
Watching the boost open is always weird.
Fantastic work OP.
Perfection
By far, the most extraordinary and best launch and booster return video I've seen. Great work!
Great job! I did a video from Melbourne beach and lost track when there were those two little puffs after the entry burns.
Great Tracking, good addition to the SpaceX video stream.
Every single time this happens, it makes NASA that much more expendable.
YES!
Well done.Fasinating view.
I lived in Cocoa Beach in late 90s man I miss that place, I lived on the river
amazing video thank you Sir
Great Video...TY
Very cool! Thanks for video
This is incredible amazing work. Well done 👍
Great video. Nice clean audio without nob heads rattling on. I envy you.
Well done! Thanks for sharing that. Amazing!
Thank you!
THANKS FOR SHARING…🤗 the next best thing to being there🤗😎🤩💚💚💚
Growing up in Largo on the West side of the state you could still see the STS launches from my street. It was the coolest thing to see as a kid.
Amazing job tracking the boosters!
