- Here is a video that shows what I described on Nail Talk Radio this past Monday night (www.blogtalkradio.com/nailtalk.... As you can see you are not limited to placing the Additives on black, white,or clear. Use those basic color rules we all learned in kindergarten and set your imagination loose to create unlimited color options!

Love this video! I've got my CND Additives arriving this week, but I use the Gelish system so can't wait to see the results! :)
From posts I've read from Gelish users on forums I would say yes!
It is my plan to do some Additives with L&P as well as gel in the near future :)
I have no idea what is up with that! If you are on Twitter I am there as FingerNailFixer and it tweets every time I load a new video :)
im a cnd lover too and i love all your vids and im so glad i found you but could you please do some designs with liquid and powder i would be honoured kisses from greece :)
Great vid thanks Holly. How do you clean your brushes when you've used additives? I used some 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner (like when I clean make up brushes) and a little acetone and the pigment has still stayed clung to the brush due to the gel.
Does this work just as well with Gelish and of so I presume that after adding the pigments you would then top coat and cure as normal?
I was subscribed to you & noticed recently that I wasn't anymore but when I try to re-subscribe, it tells me UA-cam is not available. But if I subscribe to someone else, it works. I am confused but want to be able to see when your new vids come out without having to search you each time. Do you know why? Thx for all you do!
red+blue=purple so using red Shellac as the base color then applying blue additive gives you purple
Can't see the red through it. What is the point of the shellac layer.
I clean mine with 99% isopropyl alcohol, they do become stained though no matter what you clean them with.
