You don't need to put a shackle on the Cooper anchor. Tie six feet of line to it, then add the chain, then the rest of your rope. That is how it is set up properly. The Cooper will be non damaging to your PWC unlike most of the others. The Cooper is my favorite by a LONG way.
Thanks man. I've had the wavesrx in my cart for a few weeks now. This helped me out a ton.
Just be careful. That's a deeper water anchor. It's a great anchor and holds super strong just don't let anyone step on it if u decide to use it in shallow water
@@JeTsKi_MiSfItS Thx again. I have the Sandshark Lite 18' for real shallow water and will just deal with having to get a little wetter than I would like securing it.
Sand shark all plastic one that you screw down broke after 5 uses.🤦 I may attempt that all steel sand shark along with the waverx. Thanks for the info awesome video.
Thank you so much for this video. I am trying to decide on my anchoring system for the Gulf Coast area. What would you suggest for primary and secondary anchors?
Will sent me can’t wait to watch through all your content !!!
Thk u!
Great informative video!
Thank u!
Great video
Thanks brother I was looking 👀 for a anchor for my pwc
Lots to choose from. Hopefully this video helps u decide for the type of rides u do. I wish there was a 1 anchor for all but every situation is different
Thank you very much for putting this video together. It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm trying to decide on a primary and secondary anchoring system for my new jet ski. I live on the Gulf Coast and will be doing all my riding in the Gulf of Mexico. What would you suggest for primary and secondary anchors? Thank you for your time
Definitely the wavesrx trifold anchor & their red spike for shallow sandbars. The trifold is for deeper water & comes in a case. I've seen it hold a seadoo switch in place. The smaller 5lb is for jetskis
@@JeTsKi_MiSfItS I'm definitely leaning towards the Waves-Rx tri-fold. Thanks for the suggestion. I think that's what I'm going to do.
@@The_Eric_Allen absolutely 👍👍👍
@@The_Eric_Allen if you're new to riding I recommend joining jetrider nation of Florida in facebook. It's not my group but I'm in it & find it to be the most helpful ski group in florida
@JeTsKi_MiSfItS i had a ski 19 years ago lol. I'm in Mississippi, haven't gotten delivery yet. But I met with some of the guys in the Ms group for ideas and tips. Thank you for your suggestion. I do plan on at least once a month spending my days off in the panhandle area.
LETS GO
💪💪💪
WavesRx did follow your advice with the new design. Do a new video and claim your great suggestion
Thx dan yes I will be doing a short on it
I got a blue Cooper but returned it because none of the shackles I found fit and the website didn’t list a size.
West Marine has only 1 shackle that fits the blue cooper. If they are out of stock on it many guys just drill the hole bigger on the anchor so it can accept bigger ones
@@JeTsKi_MiSfItS they had one that for but it was very expensive because it was for sailing.
Wow, $199.99 sandshark anchor on Amazon. Looks great though!👍
Unfortunately stainless steel and aluminum has skyrocketed. But the plastic blue cooper is an awesome anchor also
