I had the privilege of being there that day which, I thought was the best day's racing ever!
Paisley Park was and looked class.
Sam ran a blinder. So did Frodon in the Ryanair. Happy days.
The day I fell in love with Jump Racing and this most magical of annual sporting events.
I remember being on a Frodon and paisley park double this day.
Can't forget paisley park quickening up down the straight
What a horse the park is he just keeps on giving
Amazing race, I bet for Paisley and my heart drop when he was in 8th place. Then his horse went crazy till 1st wow so much adrenaline!!!
UnboxViews that's the way he runs his races have you not seen his form coming into Cheltenham
@@careyscates5504 Put Paisley over fences, he would make a good chaser.
Mr Coleman - you, sir, have balls of steel.
Did Aidan Coleman win a Grand National before? I am sure he must of ridden many times at Aintree.
@@uhegbuNo, he has not ridden a National winner before. His 10-year record isn't very good - I believe he has failed to complete in 7 out of the last 10. Nothing to do with his ability though - just not on the right type of horse. He has won over the big fences in a race called the Grand Sefton.
@@helensheridan4502 That is one of the rehearsal races over the National fences, the same day as the Becher Chase.
@@uhegbu Yes indeed. My point was that he can ride the National fences ok. Just hasn't found the horse to do it in the National. Well, he did actually turn the ride down on Mon Mome...
In my humble opinion this is the best jumps horse in training. One second looked beaten the just charged up the hill ran through the last hurdle. Came to a juddering halt and ran on again.
The very best commentator !!!
Ian Bartlett. Paisley Park like Big Bucks and Baracouda had an excellent season and this seals the deal despite blundering the last.
Loved Paisley park winning for Emma, but they've done a great job getting Sam Spinner back - he jumped super
Coleman is a class act plus hes a nice young lad , met him at Newbury very friendly
Heard he's very friendly
Yes a great guy from great stock ❤
Just been retired. greatly loved horse in UK.
Paisley park bet of the week 5/2
I thought Bryony Frost was emotional and then Paisley Park and Aidan Coleman . If u ever wonder why we love racing, just play back these 2 races. Emma Lavelle u deserve this . Great trainer. I hope u get the credit u deserve. Well done Paisley Park love those big pricked ears . Susan Maher
One hour of joy you will ever likely to see.
What about the owner of Paisley Park? A dream come true for him as well and of course the trainer and everyone involved.
Paisley Park runs in a similar style to Altior - hits the flat spot but then you just know he will pick up and come with a run that blows the rest out of the water. He went from being in trouble to being in command within a furlong and almost got to the front too early.
Great to see one of the smaller stables get a potential superstar.
i totally agree what your saying with altior both get produced 2 out but altior was pretty much front running in the champion chase this year lol😂 still won
Hope this horse goes on to race and break Big Bug's record in this Cheltenham race.
Faugheen, former champion hurdler finishing third there and at one point was on course for a Stayers/Champion Hurdle rare double.
uhegbu when was he on for that, watched the race near 10 times now not at one point did I think faugheen would win,
How on earth did he make up so much ground on them so quickly. Literally went past 5 of them in the blink of an eye
A winner for racing but dear Sam spinner who I backed at 40-1 in the morning a top horse
...Ian Bartlett...top commentator....
Used to be one of the commentators for the BBC along with the likes of Jim Mcgrath, Australian born commentator and not the former Channel 4 Racing pundit.
What a good stayer.he an tiger roll.best bet at chelt
Had Bapaume each way - top 4 places. Finished so strong. Makes me wonder why he was held up at the back for so long?
Talking though your pocket, couldn't go with that winner no matter how he raced, he takes 3rd and then gets headed again and finishes 4th so couldn't see him finishing nearer.
@@robertthompson176 cool thanks
Some horse to back in running. .
Paisley Park - what a horse.
I am told by connections that they might go to Punchestown next rather than Aintree so I do not think Paisley Park will attempt the Stayers championship treble, Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown. It is possible but difficult in terms of maintain form and stamina.
Hi
anyone who had a bet on Supasundae for a place must be irked. Robbie Power stops riding when he sees Paisley park fly by him, his horse couldn't win the race but with places up for grabs he basically pulls up before the last and then walks home to the line to finish 7th
Robert Thompson this is it mate, , these people don't care about the punters, and if you owned them or trained them you might think the same way, when he comes out in a couple of weeks and wins the Aintree hurdle, still Paisley park was the bet of the week 5/2 totally understand what you are saying, by the rules of the game he should be punished hasn't road the horse to best finishing position
@@careyscates5504 luckily I followed him in at a nice price at Aintree and think that was more his trip, but watching this race back its plain as day he literally stops riding
Robert Thompson I was on buvair, last time I will bet him think he's finished, usually every horse is rode to the best ability at the big meetings, but he was definitely stopped from finishing a place or two closer
@@careyscates5504 how wrong were you
andijw79 win some lose some
I love cheltenham but...what chances have punters got..when some trainers have 3 or more runners in one race...should be a rule trainers allowed only 2 horses in 1 race...
Well bet on the one you think is the fastest? 🤷🏻♂️
Penhill would have won if it ran
George Peel no chance Paisley park was bet of the week,
Reading that Penhill would have won is perhaps the pinnacle in what can be termed as " sour grapes "; and in terms of an analysis that would form an objective comparison for the horses in question, it would be stretching it a lot to regard Penhill as superior and would have won on the day against Paisley Park.
