Ubisoft understands how terrain works with altitude etc. This world looks great with all the jumps and drops etc. :)

Those sorts of "massive online races" with dozens of players was first done (I think) by Riders Republic, another ubisoft title. They're called Mass Races in that game, I'm guessing the idea kinda transitionned from RR to Motorfest.
I think they were the first to do an actual race like that and not like forza's eliminator. But if you ever played riders republic the mass races are cool at first but once everyone starts learning the tracks its just a massive pile up and with collision on it's a nightmare
I feel like they just made a race with thirty players, everything isint stolen from another game…
you know what would be insane? If they let you do this race but you can set which car you want to run for which section of the race in the pre race menu. Then "strategies" come into action in these races and that is insane.
The details of the environment looks sick in this game🔥I have always enjoyed The crew 2 and thought it was a fun game with the humongous map. Now i think i need to play motorfest too

It was the only time i won one of these races, other times the race would’ve not loaded the race properly at the beginning so you would be racing and the checkpoints wont be loaded in, nice to know i bumped into to the man himself. GG! 🤩

Hey not sure if you realized it, but the cars have drag gain on them so if you follow a player behind them you gain a boost speed which is why all those Porsches passed you at 3:10

@@bruce_pain wreckfest. This game will be great but not at all the top 5 since it's still targeting a larger audience. The bigger the target audience, the more generic it feels.

I had reoccurring problem with The Grand Race, it wouldn’t spawn in the checkpoints until 30 seconds to a minute have passed by, which is a guaranteed DNF. Other than that it was phenomenal.

Yup, you are the right audience for this game. The driving physics are worse than a toddler driving in a cardboard box in his bedroom, but I can drive potatoes with other low-hanging fruit.
the 28 player one reminds me of mass races in riders republic. mainly because of the crossplay and switching cars every 1/3 of the race
Reminds me of the Clockwork races from Re Volt... except larger.
Wonder if there will be support with AI opponents for this mode.

Worth mentioning all cars in these events are upgraded automatically to max level and all part perks are removed to give everyone an equal chance. Which is great for me since i don't wanna no life grind for nos perk sets.

The only “game” I seen where they have racing with different types of vehicles is GTA besides the crew an GTA not just a racing game.

Yes Air NOS is still a thing.. The very first massive jump i took it popped up with a message saying you can now nos in the air..
I really wish there were more street style customization on the crew tho…. A nice bumper delete for some cars is all I want man

Ah man, I am so sad.... It was probably the only beta test I REALLY wanted to try out and I got it with the FPS issues 😑couldn't even finish the tutorial

Is it going to work this time or be a netcode mess like the multiplayer in TC1 and TC2

Every time I go to play the crew motorfest bata it keeps saying there preforming maintenance and I can’t play the game it been like this a about week or two is this normal or is there something wrong with my game or has my bata play time run out?.
You missed it, this was recorded like 2 weeks ago and the beta was only for 2 days, you know how i know that? Im in the video at 4:28 😅

Forza Horizon 5 literally does seamless crossplay with PC with more than 28 players at a time (72 players in Eliminator.); Forza Motorsport will also have crossplay with PC. (Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7 are cross-platform too.)
F1 2023 is crossplay across Xbox, Playstation, and PC.
Dirt 5 is crossplay across Xbox, Playstation, and PC.
NFS Heat is crossplay across Xbox, Playstation, and PC.

Why are AAA racing games are so limited in online player count? we had thousend of player online in mmo since the 2000s, same with FPS
It seems like Ubisoft Ivory Tower created The Crew Motorfest so that it could destroy both Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport.
I'm so happy that they let old loyal players that played T2 keep and use their owned cars in the beta (and I believe in the complete game) so the real og kings win because of their upgrades 😂
Honestly I enjoy it more than Forza Horizon 5. There’s so much more things going on in this game in comparison.

I am into single player games mostly, playing at my own pace. But this looks quite good. Is The Crew 2 any good?
The crew 2 is sick I rate it more then fh5 takes a while to get into it but once you got the recommended performance level you get the hang of it, so much to do and explore
