The Sound of Saint Paul - City Cinematography by JayByrd Films

- How do you capture the essence of a place? When the entire city of Saint Paul temporarily shut down in 2020, JayByrd Films set out to answer that question. In this cinematic love letter to Minneapolis’ twin sister, we experiment with the idea that when no one is around the spirit of a city somehow still lives on.

This needs way more recognition
This makes me want to visit America
Beautiful. Modern cinematography is changing and being more accessible. The content it contains needs that magic or we get the risk of it becoming oversaturated and desensitised. Great work.
More curious about the person who disliked this video...
Beautiful!!! Very cool!! We sure are missing this on a national basis. Leadership, direction, compassion.
Beautiful 🖤
this is beautiful
Fantastic filming! Mind if I ask how you got rid of all the people and vehicles on the streets? They surely weren't that empty even at night were they? Anyway awesome production work.
Beautiful!!
Brillliant, thank you!
Awesome!
It’s amazing 😻 Hello from Ukraine 🇺🇦
I hope you are doing well, friend.
Woefully underrated.
A bit slow to start, but really hit its stride when the audio overlays began. I had not heard the voice of "Hube the Cube" in decades. Very nice reflective work.
This should have 6.5 million views, not 6.5 thousand.
Th city of St. Paul always has been the quiet one and this video reflects that.
For most people this is the way they like it.
This was shot at the height of the pandemic (March or April of 2020). St. Paul is quiet but not usually this quiet...
Where can I find prices for your drone work ?
What's the speech at the end?
It's a cut together edit of Hubert Humphreys Nomination acceptance speech in 1968
