    I am a stream enterer.
    Not imagine it.
Let me explain the moment of one entering the stream.
One who experience it will know. That means one at the lowest saint(SOTOPANNA) will know.
It has been known by one who is awaken.
All explaination are known to one who is awaken. In cutting short the whole explaination are known to one who is awaken.
To let other understand the significance of the training of mind purification in simple explaination is be as watcher, not being entertain, not to be involve in all mind and physical activities.
But to be a watcher, knowing the mind and physical activities as they arise so shall they disappear, knowing what to watch and knowing what not to watch just letting these body and physical phenomenor go. They are only passing clouds and nothing more of any good.
By being in this way one need something to hang on while travelling into the mind and that we need are the meditation object
Our breath and to magnify that breath so as to make it easy to feel and see it with the mind, we contemplate it on the abdomen or our belly. It is to make it become visible both physically and mentally so as one can feel it and mentally see it.
In this way, one journey into the mind can begin.
Clear comprehension on this breath object as one breath in (abdominal wall rising) and as one breath out(abdominal wall falling).
By focusing the mind on this meditation object and contemplate it clearly, one will soon brings the mind into concentration that are very benefiting to on going mind purification development and to further progress that arouse vipasanna knowledge that will arise and to be known and realise by this way of practice.
The 16 vipasana nanas or knowledge will arise from clear mental comprehension(sampanjanna) on the meditation object.
To cut short all those long meditaion mind purification explaination and to make it simple for everyone to understand, i will put it this way...
Meditation is the process to experience the truth of this body and mind are not self and they are impermanent, are subject to sufferring.
The above simple meditation instruction are merely to guide one into clear comprehension(sampanjanna) on the breath object so as to make the mind calm(sati) and once the mind are calm(sati or become concentrated) knowledge of the 3 characteristic and the 5 mental factor buddhist call it 5 khandas will be notice by the mind.
In realising these phenomenor by this way of practice(vipasanna) one will finally comes to understand the 4 noble truth of sufferrings clearly.
Clearly meaning one will directly experience the effect of the 4 noble truth. This means from scolarly to actual experience it.
The actual experience is when one is now with clear comprehension on his meditation object and concentration has already momentarily developed(sati), once these 2 factors are developed, another factors will arise and that is vipasanna nanas or knowledge arise that from right concentration in buddhist we call it 'WISDOM'.
These wisdom will only arise in the mind once sati or concentration are well developed following above explainations..
Once this knowledge or wisdom had arise as one continue to practice vipasanna, it will come to a time when the mind experience the last truth of the 4 noble truth= ceesation of conciousness into complete cease. The mind goes into complete shut down.
This is how one who has finally completely understood the 4 noble truth explain it(from scolarly to really experience it)
The moment of complete cease of conciousness one will not know. (it sound strange to you and many other because you have not yet tasted this moment. As the Lord BUDDHA say... COME AND EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF.
NIBANNA IS TO BE EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF ONLY THEN YOU WILL KNOW.
So when one who has experience it tell this momentarily cease of concious completely and that upon that moment he do not know it will definately make you think how is that possible right?
So then who is right? The buddha is right and the one experience it is right. And you cannot understand we do not blame you. Why?
Refer to the BUDDHA INVITATION: COME AND EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF THEN YOU WILL KNOW.
So you have heard the BUDDHA say in this way and now you have also hear the one who experience it say in the same way.
    Can you understand?
Yes for those who are already experiece it they the ARIYA will understand.
And for those still cannot understand, i urge you to deligently continue to practice
    VIPASANNA.
This is the only way and no two ways.

Entering magga phalla(disconnections of samsara existence) and emerge from magga phalla.
    The moment when it occure:
My personnel experience while in vipasanna sitting meditation this occur and I will share to those who may find interesting.
    Vipasanna meditation on the
moment of magga phalla and then return to samsara existence again on how it occur during that moment.
From Samsara to magga phalla to samsara.
16 Vipasanna nanas or 16 mindfullness knowledge aroused while contemplating the breath explaination made simple.
Nibanna is like walking up 16 stairs step to reach the top floor.
One will start from the first stairs. Lifting the right foot stepping on the first stairs letting go of the left foot from the ground to let it step on the second staircase. Upon the second foot secure stepping on the second staircase one has to LET GO of the first staircase to use the right foot to step on the 3rd staircase until one reach the 16th stairs.
Similar like from first samadhi to second samadhi to third samadhi to upeka.
Similarly the practice of vipasanna apply the same way as like walking up the stairs till step 16th(16 vipasanna nanas)
Upon reaching the top floor one can now take good rest in his room.
One will have to return to the ground floor, the first step to begin now will be the last stair which is the 16th stairs. The way to decent is from the 16 to 15 to 14 stairs and so on.
    Similarly when one attaiment
of magga(fruition) it is like one already on the highest step.
After magga(path simile of the 16th stairs) it will reach phala(fruition simile as reaching the top floor) one is an enlighten being.
Usual occurance after magga phalla, one will have to return to presant samsara conditions and that means like walking down the stair case start from the 16 steps to lower stairs.
Similarly one who practice vipasanna and reach the highest path will need to return from the path back to this samsara existence.
In this case he has to return from the magga phalla to continue to live in samsara until his balance karma energy are exhausted.
So to say, one can realize very clearly these steps to magga phalla where the mind shuts down and he know when he is stepping down (start from the 16th) to return to mundane existence is similar to the simile of the 16 staircase walking up and walking down again.
So one can know in this way one is a sotopana after nirodha(Ceesation of conciousness) reaching magga phalla(mind now completely shuts down while in vipasanna sitting meditation) and nibanna(is not a state of mind. It is out of human conciousness nothing in relation to mind and body and the buddha explain it in this way that nibanna simply is unborn, deathless and uncondition)
    No sufferring exist in NIBANNA.
    CONCLUSION:
The 16 stairs we refer to the 16 vipasanna nanas:
And after attainment when the mind shuts down you enter into nibanna(you will not know as you are momentarily already cut off your existence from Samsara)
Now you are in nibanna(as conciousness already vanished at magga you do not know as already no existence conciousness)
When after nibanna, you return to reawaken in this dream of existence in samsara and in the state of vipasanna samadhi, and here at this moment you still do not know you have return from nibanna to samsara dreams of existence as you are dwelling in strong state of samadhi where your mind now is filled with whole body pleasurable vibrating sensations and you are fully adsorption into it.
This whole body pleasure sensation will gradually subside and you will now be in lower samadhi where your mind is bright(still in the mind state of samadhi) mind is free and relaxing no problems with regards to keep focusing on the breath as now what so ever on breath to watch rising falling all seem automatic.(in samadhi or in jhanna absobtion filled with whole body pleasurable sensations)
At this moment the mind is free bright and peaceful just like driving with(in samadhi)
Then suddenly there is occurance of recollection when one start to remember.
One begin to remember there was a break in his sitting vipasanna meditation where the mind are suddenly shuts down.
Here is very important and the most difficult to explain because this is the moment of the last truth of the 4 noble truth one has reach and now realised its taste.
My attempt to explain it will be like telling a story that ends with possibily nobody will understand it.
But that is the real story of the moment of reaching magga and phalla.
When the moment the mind enter path or magga is 14th vipasanna nana and phalla 15 vipasanna nana it shuts down.
No more existing in samsara existence so no more mind and thinking are stop. No thinking thus there no more mind.
After that occurance is over, one will return from the top stair to walk down again from my simplified explaination on how one will see at that moment.
He saw before and after and he remember it now as in his mind everythings is very clear. He now realise he has reach enlightment or he has attain to magga phala and the mind is now peaceful, happy and bright.
The happiness feeling of that attainment can last numerous days. And all dhamma now aroused in one who is Ariya. He is now a SOTOPANNA.
May this sharing be the road map for everyone and as the ariya of the past phrase it in this way they say 'WORTH IT'
Wish everyone will strive one digently. Vipasanna the sure way leading to nibanna.
The BUDDHA say this is the only way and no other way. And he say 'AHEPASIKO'
Come friends and experience it yourself and you will know like I have known.
And the last advise of LORD BUDDHA..... APAMADE SAMPADETA
    meaning
Behold, O monks, this is my last advice to you. All component things in the world are changeable. They are not lasting. Work hard to gain your own salvation."
    Apamadesampadeta.

Temporary ceesation(jhanna adsobtion) still conciousness exist and ultimate ceesation(magga phalla) no more conciousness or no more mind. .
So when no more mind, no more conditions can functions. So nibanna is the unborn, uncondition.
when avijja does not exist no more such thing as sufferring exist.
Nibanna has nothing connected to this existence.
It is unborn and nothing conneected to bliss, happiness. It is uncondition.

Hi! I wasn't very familiar with the term stream entry until recently, but what you're describing sounds incredibly similar to what my experience has been like for the past month or so following a deep meditation experience I had. The first thing I noticed after this meditation was that it felt like I was seeing the world with like 2x resolution and it felt much more uncertain who "I" was. Since then, I've also noticed that I generally just feel a lot more carefree, it's very easy for me to let go of thoughts, meditating is effortless now and it only takes a minute or so to get very deep into it, the phobia I used to struggle with a lot is very manageable now, and tons of other changes. I'm curious if you think this sounds like stream entry to you, and if so, if there's anything I should know going forward with my meditation practice? Thanks!

There is nibanna but yet it is only known by the one who experience it.
It is true if we don't talk about nibanna, buddhism is as good as dead.
    Then what is nibanna.?
Nibanna is not about bliss or happiness, this is misconception.
It is not for one who are scolarly and also not suitable to use words to make a lovely statement to make nibanna as to so easily understood or attained.
Nibanna is not coolness not cooling down and is not super heaven. What ever one tries to imply and assume and think and using all sorts of assumptions, imaginations, yet they are all untrue.
Nibanna has nothing to do with mind and body.
It cannot be understood no matter how hard you tries to explain NIBANNA. That is why the Buddha say only one whose mind are free from greed, hatred and delusion will experience nibanna upon their mind purification ripen.
Upon the 4th noble truth the last truth says END.
When there is the End then there is no more worldly misconception and all conventional truth decay.
Today many listener do not believe when they meet an ariya, one who has experience the path. Why is that so? It is because the listerner and the one who present the dhamma many are not one who has experience nibanna themself. So they will remain scolarly and when they encounter a true ariya, they will not know.
Indeed seeking the truth about what is nibanna are long and tiring for the ignorance.
Nibanna has nothing to do with happiness, bliss whatever you can think. What ever you can think or say, then that is not nibanna.
Nibanna has nothing to do with mind and body and our conventional thinking.
No matter how you try to explain nibanna in your way, it will only brings you back to ignorance and doubt.
So the Buddha say about nibanna. 'ONLY THE WISE ONE WILL KNOW'.
    EHIPASSIKO OPANAYIKO
    PACCATAM VEDITABBO VINNUHI TI.
    Come and experience it yourself.
One you reach ceesation of mind, mind do not anymore exist. When mind no more exist how then to explain nibanna after experience it? Anyone who ever tries to explain nibanna even at their very best, it is still not true.
    Then who will know?
The Ariyan are those who has experience it will know.
Then those who knows will then leads you into the path by instructing the correct way to practice your mind meditation subject so you will also finally experience it.
There is only one way and the way is thru SATIPATHANA or sati with sampanjanna that leads to the 4 foundations and the 5 aggregates seeing nonself and finally the mind cease from existence.
That ceesation of concious are the ceasation of sufferrings.
Nibanna are thus to be understood as ceaseation of consciousness.
The mind shut down during meditation.
    SUFFERRINGS and Nibanna is known.
So the only to really understand it is to experience it yourself.

Practice of vipasanna derive from Mahasi sayadaw way of practice.
Sotapanna attainment how it occur and the sequence you will experience.....
It starts with vipasanna sitting meditation then until mind shuts down. Before it shuts down, you are clearly comprehending the inbreath watching the beginning, the middle and the end of the breath.
Ceesation of conciousness occur during this moment. The mind suddenly shuts down.
Ceesation of conciousness is similar to mind shuts down:
When this happen, you will not know.(it is because your mind has now stop fabricating just like a factory stop production all machine are switch off and no one working)
That moment of not knowing is the moment you enter magga(path)and phala(fruition)where you are no more existing in this ignorance existence of samsara.
After the magga phala attainment is over you will be in strong samadhi adsobtion where your whole body are radiance with strong pleasurable sensations.
At that moment you still do not know you have attain magga phala.
As these strong samadhi adsobtion gradually subside, you will now be able to aware of the calmness of mind and body sitting in erect and firm.
At this moment you can easily aware of your breath as it rise on inbreath and as it fall on outbreath.
It is easily notice without effort.
It was during this time you will suddenly remember or recollect the mind ceesation or shuts down clearly.
You remember it very clearly before it shuts down, your were clearly comprehending inbreath rising, middle and end of breath and suddenly everything vanished,no more conciousness, mind shuts down.
Then you realise whole body immersed with strong pleasurable sensations and when the sensation is over you can realise your mind is peaceful ,happy and mindfulness on inbreath and outbreath is easy and that your sitting meditation posture is straight and erect or is very firm(In samadhi state)
In this way you now come to realise that you have finally come to know how suffering ends.
Nibanna is being realise by your pure mind.
Mind that is non greed, non hatred, non delusions.
You are now a stream entry or is now a confirmed Ariya or sotapanna. You are free from 4 woeful realms of existence and you only have 7 more existence one as human and another 6 life as devas.
If you are hard working and if you continue practice your vipasanna meditation and come to ceesations of conciousness for the second times, your next attainment is Sakadagami and you only have 3 more existence. And if the third time ceesation you are Anagami and the 4th time you are Arahat and will be fully aware of everything and totally free from ignorance completely and never to be born again.
May my explaination be enlightening to vipasanna meditators and what is being explain are the final knowledge you will experience when your time for attainment is ripe.

The 4 noble truth that many misunderstood.
What is the 3rd noble truth and the last noble truth.
The third are the ceesation of concious (sufferrings only occure when there are conciousness) and the last truth are the ceased of conciousness thus concious ceased to exist.
This is the truth and thus ends all sufferrings.
Nibanna is not to be assume that there is concious free from sufferrings. When there is concious there will be object to be known. Thus
Nibanna cannot be explain to have mind that is free from sufferrings. And nibanna cannot be explain to be place of bliss, happiness or pleasure. If so sufferrings would not have Ends. Ceesation thus should be understand as the END. It should not be assume as still there is existence or there is no more existence. It will be ignorance again if one interpreters ceesation is mind without sufferrings. Or mind with bliss, happiness and pleasure. The Lord Buddha explain suppose you have a lighted candle flame and once is blown off by the wind, then where does this flame goes?
Similarly when ceesation occurs conciousness ceased. Similarly where does conciousness go?
The BUDDHA explain, when concious ceased, it ceased.
Not to be appear here, there or anywhere.
NUBANNA is known in this way.
So who ever tries to explain nibanna further then as explain by the BUDDHA. They are just being ignorance.

My practice started with extreme intensity due to a psychedelic crisis at 27, and after 16 further years of ferocious practice and lots of help, no stream entry. It's really depressing and considering that being a ball of anxiety for my whole adult life basically destroyed my teenage and adult life, very despairing as well.
You REALLY need others' help though. I have had intensive help from highly skilled energy healers and without them I would be lost.

@@didibeingsocial I have in the past six months received _enormous_ benefit from psychedelic therapy. I started with ketamine, which is basically the most 'chill' psychedelic, and holy shit the results. I have suffered from nearly debilitating kundalini syndrome and the resulting benzo abuse for 15 years.
My energy healers could only do so much. Energy follows thought, and so the terror, grief and rage trapped in my body were causing pounding energy that has driven me half crazy and kept my nervous system in fight-or-flight. Good luck getting stream entry like that.
The ketamine dislodges some sort of blockage in my mind and leads to huge releases of energy, terror energy mostly but all the negative emotions liberated in the form of energy blowing off me for hours at a time. It can be a gruelling process in itself, as I then need to pay my energy healer to clean up the mess (!) and usually have at least one more powerful release about a day later. But holy shit, the layers of conditioning and the psychic knots that ketamine can instantly access when nothing else can, and loosen them up and free them, is staggering. My whole personality has become less fearful and scrambled in the last six months, such that my family has noticed the difference.
Psychedelic therapy can be very, very useful if you use it in the context of a stable meditation practice or even combine it with neurofeedback, to take advantage of the vastly increased neuroplasticity for a few days to a week after use. Now I know why self-inquiry and all other methods could not work.I was WAY too stuck in fight-or-flight.
Tomorrow I am going to get a stellate ganglion nerve block, which anaesthetizes certain nerves connected to the amygdala and can be remarkably successful against PTSD. It can knock you out of fight-or-flight for weeks or months at a time. Even one successful use would be amazing, because it would show me a reality beyond PTSD and the memory of that would affect my consciousness forever after.
And we're just getting started. This is all preliminary, and yet the results of psychedelic therapy "break the medical model of psychiatric medications", as one doctor said, meaning they can CURE problems that have defied conventional medications and treatments for decades. And even more powerful interventions based on neuroscience are almost upon us. May you live in interesting times, indeed.

Sorry, but the presenter did not help anyone understand the clear and unmistakable experiences of entering the sphere of neither-perception-nor-non-perception and that of cessation. Thus, I am doubtful of his knowledge. All that was presented was the same old BS that can be found in extracts of doctrine.

Also, it is disturbing for me to think that the confusion relating to these attainments will only increase if we are not careful to be accurate and precise in relating our discoveries, because many sincerely want to know the truths of these things, and these truths are difficult to find, and if we are reckless, we will only be causing more troubles and hardships for others; which cannot serve us well in the end.

@@chadkline4268 Chad, my impression is that your experience of these states / stages is limited to intellectual study. Perhaps. I spent quite a while exploring this territory, and speak of my own experiences. You can take it with a grain of salt, like all sources of external wisdom. No, how you describe me is very incorrect and arguing who meditated the most and with whom is not productive in resolving my criticisms of the video which is that you do not offer a single defining characteristic of stream entry despite an introduction that tells me that you will tell me what stream entry is. And you do not state how, or if, cessation relates to stream entry. Obviously, if I say that I can clearly delineate the entrances and exits to the highest states of meditation, I did not begin yesterday. And I have no interest in maligning you at all. I would not bother spending all of this time and effort if I thought you surely could not help me with answers to my criticisms.

    • @chadkline4268
      @chadkline4268 2 роки тому

      For example:
      1) Much of what you say about stream entry could also apply to cessation. So, are they the same thing or not?
      2) Some say that only the anagamis and arahants can attain cessation. So, that does not agree with #1.
      3) Some say that every period where one attains cessation, or a sequence of cessations, is a new level of attainment. But this conflicts with #2.

Kundalini awakening is not always a pleasant experience. It becomes kundalini syndrome, which I have endured for 15 years, when it gets out of control. Kundalini syndrome is exhausting and very unpleasant. Incredible pounding energy, inability to sleep or eat, quite a gruelling rigorous ordeal.
