Those Double Kickers are so damn powerful! This band has got everything; A great lead guitarist, a great vocalist, a rhythm guitarist who is killer on the key board and a great bassist.

i have seen them live has guest band for Stratovarius gig, and boy for me i enjoyd to watch what ive seen, and canot wait for a oportunity to a gig from FIREWIND here in Birmingham UK !! is one i simply don't want to lose the frantic exitement these guys bring!! bands like FIrewind deserve serius respect!!;)

they all kick ass but I think the most intersting musician in this band and worth of all attention is Katsionis he is truely an accomplished player he rocks and shreds on both guitar and keys !! respect to this guy

@TheHeraldic Ozzy writes his own lyrics but all the music was written by the musicians in the band at the time. I give those musicians more credit than I do Ozzy.
They're in two different keys, and two different time signatures. Of couse they won't resemble each other if you play them at the same time. Listen to one, THEN the other. The instrumentation, note choice, and buildup are VERY similar.

Bear in mind, that they're not supposed to sound the same, and I'm only comparing the intros. The two songs themselves sound nothing alike, once they go into full swing, if you know what I mean.

@AceSamFrehley Yes I know they are not that awesome these days, especially Hetfield, but do you have to be able to play fast to play good solos? Btw i know for sure Kirk can do Into the fire's guitar solo while he's sleeping. And yes I know the fire and the fury and its an awesome song.

@AceSamFrehley Maybe not the new metallica, but the Kill'em All - Ride The Lightning - Master Of Puppets - Justice Metallica. I think their songs and riffs are far more heavier than firewind's. And about Kirk Hammett, I 100% not agree. He's not limited at all. He can play uberfast and put emotion in his guitar solos.
And the volcals? C'mon you gotta admit that Hetfield's volcals are better than
Apollo's.

@SmackDaddySteven actually, ozzy isen't even a real musician. He doesn't write his own lyrics, and after all he isen't a great singer neither. He just got lucky to end up in Black sabbath with good musicians...
gus g is better here then ozzy...i love how he brings a more randy rhodes feel and sound to it, and its better than zakk wylde overdoing it with the pinch harmonics, but hes better here

IMO, Gus G should've stayed in Firewind. He is an insane guitarist, but Firewind suits his style way better than Ozzy...
Meh, live he doesnt sound to good. On itunes its amazing. Probably because he had to use all of these amps for his voice. :p
