I like the video but for a better understanding, law students mustn’t confuse the sources of Law such as the law of God or Natural Law with the sources of a legal system such as the Constitution, Jurisprudence, and Doctrine.

(the video will explain the stages and the steps of the first stage) stage 1: the passing of a bill by parliament, this stage consists of 6 steps: 1. notification of intention to introduce a new bill 2. introduction of the bill 3. tabling and first reading of the bill 4. the committee stage 5. the second reading debate 6. referral to and adoption by National Council of Provinces stage 2: the signing of the Bill by the President (assenting to the Bill) stage3: Publication (promulgation) of an act stage4: Putting the act into operation (commencement) P.S This is how my Statutory Interpretation lecturer taught it to us
