Nevermind the other times he failed, got arrested or just in trouble and was given title shot after title shot proves even more privilege. Nobody else, besides Conor, would've had those opportunities. He would've released anyone else from the UFC over it

A lot of fair points, but the craziest example for me is when Dana moved an event on short notice, just because jones popped (again) and NY wouldn’t sanction it. Conor’s biggest dwp is the mayweather fight, which no one else ever would of got tbh

Dana privilege is a joke. The dude has basically built a monopoly that prints money. And make no mistake, that's his literal job. To make obscene money. Not to put on the best fight and to make sure that the most deserving fighter gets the title shot. Therefore, the people who sell the most get the most opportunities. This isn't the Olympics, people.

There would still be many other MMA organizations around the world. Remember that MMA did not start with the UFC. Brazil and Japan already had MMA before the first UFC.

@@AwareWolfOnWheels yes he saved the UFC, put it into the mainstream, and it's the best MMA in North America, but not necessarily best for the world of MMA. Dana has a habit of ignoring or badmouthing any MMA fighter who leaves the UFC for another promotion, or any fighter who never fought in the UFC. The result is that most North American MMA fans have never heard of some of the sport's best fighters, or think some of their favourite fighters already retired while in reality they keep fighting in other leagues.
