I seriously think they need to cap ALL salaries in the NFL...It's getting ridiculous and in a few years nosebleed seats are gonna cost $1000. It's gotta STOP!!
If they can't get something really good for him, I say they make him play out his contract. I don't get these guys. It's like they purposely ignore the fact that there's a salary cap. I don't agree that he should get the "big bag". a 5 year contract with 26 mil a year is plenty of money to set you and your family for life. Getting a few million more isn't gonna matter if you're not smart enough to make 100 million last a lifetime.
Its not for anyone to count that man's money but him. All receivers focus on getting the most on the second contract. If he doesn't put himself first then who would. This is business and it just may be a business decision for the 49ers. Someone will likely overpay for him, and if they do he should take it. That doesn't mean the 49ers need to be the ones to do it.

@@mrsky67 nobody compares to Jettas and no one is saying that but he has almost 50 less receptions then amon ra but only 150 yards less. He’s arguably better. Almost every catch he made went for a 1st down or a TD. If he had even 20 less catches then st brown he is clearing 2000 yards.

I put out this trade a while back it may have been reaching but trade him to the Patriots for some combination of Christian Gonzales and picks which helps the cap next year. Next treats DB room gets better and cheaper.I like sending him to Raiders for Mayer and some pics. Patriots make a lot of sense to me.

They should have traded him a good while ago. You saw this happening months ago. BA was clear from the get go about holding out and riding the market to the top. SF screwed up in not moving him sooner. Now, their leverage is less in a trade and they won't get the return they would've gotten. Running a business in the cap limited NFL is just getting used to the fact that you have to turnover personnel every few years, or every year. Who care about what Trent WIlliams thinks. Kyle bailed him out of a shitty situation in Washington. They're deep at receiver. If they could pull it out in 2019 with that brutal receiver corps, they certainly should make a go of it with a better QB and two good receiver picks.
