I definitely won’t argue that, as he is their best overall wide receiver on the team, but that does not mean that he is a top 20 receiver in the league. This guy needs the 49ers more than the 49ers need him. His best asset that he brings to the 49ers is the fact that he can block down the field, which is a priority on this team. His receiving skills are above average and that’s not to take anything away from him above average is top 32 in the league, but he is not a top 20 guy. There are so many other guys that most teams would rather have over BA.
Aiyuk averaged 5 catches per game in the 2023 season, so it was not because KC had better DBs that BA had fewer targets in SB. It was because the 49ers had too many offensive options to choose from.

He is wide open because Deebo is taking on two defenders, while Kittle is taking on two defenders. Plus there is Kyle with his routes combos that allows Aiyuk to be open… and let’s not forget about the accuracy and lead capability of Brock’s arm. Bosa is the defense, he gets around 33 million. Aiyuk is not even close to being the offense… why pay him like Bosa? Aiyuk is crazy and getting a little selfish and over confident. Have we seen Aiyuk make catches while covered by defenders and fighting for the ball. How many contested catches does he have?… with it being a dot of a throw?

Here's my point yes you are right in our team he is the most targeted WR. By only 15 to Deboo and Kittle that's less than 1 target a game! Then you have a 3rd player in CMC with 22 less. That's 3 players that get 1 less targets than he does on average, now maybe since Purdy has proven to be a reliable QB things might change but our team this past yr ran the ball just a tad bit more than pass 50.4/49.6 you can say it's 50/50 when we run its primarily CMC so if you take into consideration the run game and passing CMC is our true #1 option then followed by (the slimmest of margins ) B.A. then Kittle and Deebo. My point is his average targets per game is less than 1 target per game than the other 2. If you compare him to the top WR in the league he comes in at #6 you got Hill,Collins, Jefferson, Nacua and Lamb ahead of him he is in middle of the pact in just about every statistical category except for YAC/catch not his fault it's just their usage rating compared to A.B. is much higher because normally on their own team they are the #1 weapon on their respective team o. Ours A.B. is not

I definitely won’t argue that, as he is their best overall wide receiver on the team, but that does not mean that he is a top 20 receiver in the league. This guy needs the 49ers more than the 49ers need him. His best asset that he brings to the 49ers is the fact that he can block down the field, which is a priority on this team. His receiving skills are above average and that’s not to take anything away from him above average is top 32 in the league, but he is not a top 20 guy. There are so many other guys that most teams would rather have over BA.

He is wide open because Deebo is taking on two defenders, while Kittle is taking on two defenders. Plus there is Kyle with his routes combos that allows Aiyuk to be open… and let’s not forget about the accuracy and lead capability of Brock’s arm. Bosa is the defense, he gets around 33 million. Aiyuk is not even close to being the offense… why pay him like Bosa? Aiyuk is crazy and getting a little selfish and over confident. Have we seen Aiyuk make catches while covered by defenders and fighting for the ball. How many contested catches does he have?… with it being a dot of a throw?

Here's my point yes you are right in our team he is the most targeted WR. By only 15 to Deboo and Kittle that's less than 1 target a game! Then you have a 3rd player in CMC with 22 less. That's 3 players that get 1 less targets than he does on average, now maybe since Purdy has proven to be a reliable QB things might change but our team this past yr ran the ball just a tad bit more than pass 50.4/49.6 you can say it's 50/50 when we run its primarily CMC so if you take into consideration the run game and passing CMC is our true #1 option then followed by (the slimmest of margins ) B.A. then Kittle and Deebo. My point is his average targets per game is less than 1 target per game than the other 2. If you compare him to the top WR in the league he comes in at #6 you got Hill,Collins, Jefferson, Nacua and Lamb ahead of him he is in middle of the pact in just about every statistical category except for YAC/catch not his fault it's just their usage rating compared to A.B. is much higher because normally on their own team they are the #1 weapon on their respective team o. Ours A.B. is not
