Great! Many many thanks! My 2007 ST had this warning from last winter. My cover was bit different though. It was made out of aluminium and had the BMW service number on it. Fixed it for 7 euro (the batteries) instead of €€€ at the garage. I owe you a beer 😉

Take it an garage and get it checked out. The bike should be checked out by a specialist regularly.
