Welcome back to Wild Finds. This week of course I am hunting the thrift stores and find some movies and more. Also I get an awesome lot of records at public auction. I even do a movie review of what I've watched recently. Check it out!

British comedy has always been light years ahead of it's time. We are the best at sitting in our houses, waiting for things to break. And I, for some reason, collect sealed snap cases and that clear one looked cool. Nice stuff.
PG in the 70's literally meant parental guidance. it was basically what rated R is today. great video brother. can you came out well with the hurricane. I'm in St. Augustine so it was basically a tropical storm when it got to us.

young ones is my favorite TV show of all time. first saw it in 1987 when MTV used to air it sunday nights.
The Jerk is the best movie to watch when high.

I was reading a story from 2015 someone bought a couple of pictures from a thrift store for $2 one of the pictures is a group of people one person in the group is Billy The Kid. This is ONLY the second know photo of him & it could be worth $5 Million !!!!!!!!!! WOW 😮😮😮😮

The 1988 film Running On Empty is one of my favorite films of all time. More people need to see it. River Phoenix was nominated for an Academy Award & Sidney Lumet Directed it. He also Directed "Dog Day Afternoon" with Al Pacino.

Please don't stop showing us what you have watched. It's great. The Young Ones is a masterpiece. If you ever find any Ben Elton books, the guy behind Young Ones, please have a read. He is a brilliant author. (I also recommend "The I.T. Crowd" & "Black Books" if you have not seen those I think u would love them too)

Aphrodite's Child was a Greek prog band. They made 3 albums and the last one, 666, was an ambitious concept album from biblical themes. Its fame has increased over the years. Also the band had two members who found fame after they broke up: Demis Roussos and Vangelis have made quite a name for themselves with music worth listening to today also. Also I noticed one by the late, great Francoise Hardy who passed away in June. Even Bob Dylan thought she was awesome.

Thanks for the movie reviews and recommendations. Witchboard & Gargoyles seems very hard to find DVDs, Tawny Kitaen the star of witchboard was the girl from the Whitesnake videos. Want to check out these. Strawdogs Criterion blu ray is a super find! Keep up the good work. Saw 2 good movies this week Roadgames starring Stacy Keach. Jamie Lee Curtis and Island of Dr Moreau- with Burt Lancaster and Michael York. Recommend both esp Road Games.

Watched The Young Ones back in the day, I also like The Might Boosh, Brit comedy. Curious about the Five Element Ninjas. I watched Psycho II last night, pretty good sequel.
Nice and yes Psycho 2 is surprisingly good and part 3 is pretty good too!
What was that Florida Festival record? I remember going there with my mom, aunt and grandma.. My mom and aunt would go to the bar they had and i would go with my grandma to look at the flowers and plants for sale.
Nice! I don't know much about the record, seems to be a group called Starsong which might have been like a house band for the festival or something.

Hey FMF that Fela Kuti record you flipped by ever so quickly is a great find. He was the African equivalent of James Brown. That Rockers Meets King Tubby is pretty cool as well.

My brother lost power and internet for 4 days + ruined food. Those reggae artist know how to enjoy.......... life. I used to had Dead Calm on VHS. Ever watched Hardcore Henry? Super unusual and non-stop.

I got Shockwaves 1976 dvd brand new. I've seen it once before.
Nice! I actually just rewatched it and it starts slow but gets better later in the movie. It doesn't have any gore but does have a cool atmosphere. I rate it 6 out of 10.
They should have seen it coming...
I agree. I watched Shockwaves a while back. I heard people say it was great. I was quite bored 😴. Not sure if i missed something.
Yup, I did rewatch it and knowing that it is slow makes it a bit better. It has good atmosphere at least.

Great video, I saw Bridget Jones, Stand & Deliver/Lean On Me, Cool Hand Luke, but James have you seen The Poseidon Adventure, it's about passengers and aboard The Poseidon for New Year's Eve until disaster strikes the passengers and the boat. It's one of my favorites. But pretty good finds.

Tales from the Darkside was pretty good but I think Night Gallery is better.
Barbarella is a PG movie but at the time PG was really not used very well but back then it was called GP . But I agree it should be rated PG-13 or even R
Yup funny how the rating system use to work. Like Jaws is PG but scarier than almost any other movie.
The new remake of Barbarella will star Sidney Sweeney. Pretty sure that will be Rated R lol 😂
