The lowest feeling of Tengen & the boys being down and out... only to have everyone come back and turn the tide and get the Win is still the highlight moment for me in the series. While there will be more big moments coming for you both to experience... this episode is so intense... it stands out as a highlight moment for so many. Seeing the raw emotion when they all come back and finish them off is what so many others felt.
i said that and ill say it again, season 2 of Demon slayer is a masterpiece.. your reaction was ON POINT. the hype when tengen jump in and save tanjiro and then inoske jump to help zenitsu is a well written script ! the animation is on another level ! the amount of stress u guys was in was amazing to watch !

Ufotable's compositing, CG effects, and understanding of color theory really stand out. And it's not just in their Fate works, but all of their shows. That's a big reason why no episode Ufotable has produced ever looks bad. However, the fight choreography and camera cuts in Heaven's Feel 3 are mid at best. Also, in one of the clashes between Rider and Saber, you can literally count the frames. Every time Saber swings her sword, Ufotable just throws a CG explosion on screen. It's a beautiful CG explosion, but no where near the skill and time needed to hand animate Gyutaro vs Tengen. Their choreography, 3D camera work and CG in this episode is factually better than what they animated with Rider vs Saber. And on a technical level, Demon Slayer's season 3 finale is better animated than this episode and the season 4 finale is better than the 3rd. Whether it's a movie or not, Ufotable ALWAYS tries to improve on their previous work. Every year, they raise the bar for themselves. tldr; Flashy animation =/= good animation.

And keep in mind tengen, rengoku and gyutaro are rather weak compared to some upper moons and hashiras...wait till you see the big boys fight💀 Akaza(upper moon 3) is very strong but even he isnt a comparison to upper moon 2 and 1 and tengen and rengoku are also on the lower bottom of the hashiras
