I’ve wanted a Cadi for a long time. A black and red one like the versions you showed here would suit me perfectly. I’d be all for a signature model like these.

Man when I first saw the red explorer with that fingerboard I was blown away! It’s amazingly beautiful!One of the most beautiful explorers I’ve ever seen in fact. It’s really sad that Dean can not make those a production line.. but it is what it is.. 😕 and Rob definitely deserves a signature line!

Awesome video, man. There is a Dean guitar that Rob played that you might have an interest in. Back in 2014, Cannibal had released a book called Bible of butchery which a biography of the band/band members at that point when the book was released. In the book, there is a picture of Rob playing a Dean guitar that appears to be either a Dean ML or a explorer shape. You can't see the back so it's anyone's guess as to what the body shape is. What makes the guitar unique is that it has the Dean inline reverse headstock, not the Dean V headstock that we normally see on Rob's Dean Cadi-Kill and Zero guitars. At first, I thought it was a guitar from another company but you can see the Dean name/wings on the headstock. I've looked on the internet for years so see if I could find any more pictures of that guitar but no luck. To this day, I still would like to know the story of that particular guitar.
I know Dean Guitars say they are not done wait till namm I play mostly Dean and Ibanez guitars that Caddy is awesome Dean should do a production run definitely
Have you had tuning issues with that head stock? I had to install a string butler on my ML to keep G and D strings in tune. It came with a well cut tusque nut but those two strings would not behave.
Can’t say I have man! The ML’s and my Cadi all stay in tune quite well actually! But I’ve also got a really good guitar guy that sets them up nicely! Otherwise they’d be butchered from my clumsiness 😂😂🤘🎸🤘
@@JD-vj4go it’s probably just luck of the draw! Speaking of the Z series, my Burn My Eyes Z has the ML headstock and it doesn’t stay in tune unfortunately. They’re a real cheap guitar thou 🤘
Totally with you!! A signature model should be something different from all the rest. If Rob comes up with his own shape it would be amazing. Specs and hardware may vary and you can replace them. You just can't.... reshape a shape. 😂😂 After all, we haven't seen new shapes in quite a while, it's about time to witness something new and different. Rock on my man 💪👍🏻🤟🏻

G.H. you need to check out Granville guitars UA-cam page. He's gots lots of videos of robs guitars up close and personal. He sets them up for the guys and tells you all the specs and string gages. Videos of almost all the ones you showed in the pictures. Led fret markers and circuitry all of it. Dean needs to make these for us. 🤘🎃🤘

@GuitarHoarder yes he does. He talks about how the headstock got broke and been repaired on the custom graphic cadi. And I think it shows one with the evertune bridge and it shows the z with the Floyd. And there's another video with the silver gray cadi with the black binding. He has several videos with the cannibal corpse guys guitars. He even tells you what albums the guitars were used on. I went and looked all this up after I saw your's cause now I want one. 🤘🎃🤘

Interesting Clifford. Scooter is local to me and I use him for his amp tech and repair services. Saw someone’s guitar when I was in there last, 2019 according to the tubes he has dated. The hallway into his new shop has all kinds of metal band cover art (or did when I was there) including Cannibal Corpse. I wonder if that adjacent recording studio is still up and running? This was 2019. I think it’s cool to see Guitar Horder with all the swag and a massive collection of keepers. Back in the 80’s the local rock scene was on fire, seems to have died down significantly since the 95YNF era. My brother was a sound guy for some local bands back then, I’d have to ask him but the band Felony seems to ring a bell.
Back in 2014 I had a CadiKill new that came with EMG's with the red headstock graphic with no black outline from that guitar company in California that had a bunch of the rare CadiKill models, went away for a month girlfriend sold it for $100 to a pawn shop because the owner said it was to graphic too sell! Went I got home I tried to get it back from the POS & he claimed it was sold it no BS!!!!!!!!! Im still extremely bummin about it

Unfortunately , Dean is about to tank , hard. They've got bigger things to think about than giving Rob a signature guitar right now , but that's not to say he shouldn't have one.
They’re still making guitars, custom shop & production models. If things were as bad as the media makes out the banks would’ve put them into receivership along time ago. They just released two new models with the “f**ks given” campaign in response to the Gibson lawsuit on the explorer & V shapes 🤘🎸🤘
I doubt Dean Guitars will last another 20 years unless someone else buys that company and puts it on the right path. That company has gone down hill since Elliott passed away.
From what I’ve heard they’re in the process of putting the necessary pieces in place to sort out the issues & move forward. They’re still shipping guitars & all that recent media hype is old news rehashed. Hopefully they can work thru everything & get back to the top of their game! 🤘🎸🤘
