To be honest I think Disney's version is better than this one just because Jeremy Irons and Jim Cummings were incredible actors in the film. But that doesn't mean I don't like this version
While I think that remaking the lion king the way they did was a shameful cash grab and nothing more, that doesn't mean they didn't include this song in a manner that would actually make sense in live action context (rather than having a mountain appear out of the ground for no actual reason, along with an entire army of goose stepping hyenas where before there was only a large pack). I actually enjoyed that part.

The manner in which they implemented the new song is also a pretty decent Nazi reference that's less obvious than goose stepping hyenas.
