There were some companies who avoided releasing music the same month as Big Bang if the group was somewhat popular and had a chance of winning #1 if they were against other kpop groups. But there were also some groups who purposefully would release songs the same month to get a chance to be in the top 3 with Big Bang for more exposure, especially since more people would be tuning in for those episodes as well. They really changed the industry~ Kings Of Kpop
I remember some idols would literally be beaming to the point a reporter asked them if they were up for wins in which they replied “of course not…..IM BREATHING THE SAME AIR AS BIG BANG”
Other were so happy that they said “we’re in the same room” 😂😂

Award shows are so boring without Bigbang's performance
You can just tell how Bigbang finds joy in performing 100% live and by making the audience part of the whole experience. Nowadays it's just choreos choreos choreos and more choreos to make up for the lack of live vocals.
And it is very sad to see where kpop is going 🥲

so hyped from watching but tearing up at the same time…their musicality and performances were way ahead of the others more than 10 years ago…just imagining in an alternate universe where asian artists are more welcomed and social media exploded 10 years ago…BIGBANG who are already global would be global on a different scale…those performances of Cafe and Bad Boy 😭

People who only knows the surface think BIGBANG is such a cool and distant individuals with poker face but the truth is, as you clearly showed in the video, they have always been such dorks in their natural habitat.
