Imagine putting AC in this. Top speed would drop to 80 km/h.
I have this very same car at home, the cinquecento didn’t have any ac, you only had the windows 🤣
@@dediii There was version with AC. Imagine going with handbrake on :D
@@renetnk imagine no engine haha
AC HAHAHAHAHA
You'd thank god the engine is still there.
if you turn the lights on, you already lose 5 km/h
0-100 km/h: Sometimes, sometimes not.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👌
0-100 20 sec hahahahahahahahahaha
I have the 1.1 54hp and 100km/h always.
it does go to 100 but i suggest you use a calendar to measure it
Stil not as bad as Fiat 126
As an American, it's so cool seeing these small, low hp city cars that we never got!
We call them "mechanized umbrellas".
You got a variation of the Fiat 127, it was called the Yugo, and I got a 127 ! It's a 0.9 4 cylinders with 45hp and it works great!
I owned Fiat Cinquecento 0.7I 31 HP when I was in college. For me it's cool to see those all american big cars that we never got ;)
As an Italian, it'so cool seeing your MASSIVE and amazing pick-up trucks; MASSIVE bodies, MASSIVE engines, bigger than most of our apartments, machines that we could drive essentially nowhere, not even in a mall parking or a standard racetrack :D
As a Brazilian, I would love to have the chance to see V8 big cars, full size sedans, suvs and pick up trucks, because we never got this kind of massive cars in my country. Just small and midsize cars, expensive fuel, high taxes, etc. God bless American cars. Fiat, Peugeot and Citroen are a piece of shit!
The car where the crumple zone ends 5 meters behind the rear hatch
Lmao
Customer: so where's the crumple zone?
Fiat: Yes.
@@ferhattje well basically, you are the crumple zone
I drove this car as a Cinquecento Sporting '94 with 54 hp with 1.1 litre machine for 4 years but 15 years ago. I made it lower and faster by customized ECU, air intake and exhaust. So my best speed was 196km/h or 122mph at that time... Now 15 years later I am little scared about.
@@janscharnofski9115 Faster than a Volvo nowadays.
26 years old and still a good city car, I really like those everyday classics.
Seems like a pretty good (though not exactly pretty😉) city car for one or two people. Economical, too; especially considering the low price, fuel consumption and I assume cheap spare parts as well.
Edit: I have a soft spot for small Fiat cars, because my grandad had a Fiat 600 and I have a lot of good memories of him and the car. 😊
Very dangerous if you crash, is better don’t buy it
Not sure if the acceleration is enough good in todays cities.
@@riccardomarinoni6733 ..
@@riccardomarinoni6733 still better than a motorcycle if we talk that way
something's telling me that seat belts aren't really necessary in this one
It is necessary to prevent the car breaking away from you in case of an accident.
Never used em. But I had 2 accidents in CC700
Even in a death trap like this one, they drastically increase your chance of survival. A relative of mine survived a horrific crash in an even less safe original Fiat Panda with light injuries, all thanks to the seat belts.
They are used to avoid tickets.
Man, I can still remember my mother had this car back in the day when I was small and me and my little brother sitting in the back.
I had a 900 cc (39 hp) my 1998. Top speed was a little above 140 kmh, perfect handling, easy to park, smooth gearbox, able to reach 50 mpg. Only issue in my opinion was about safety in case of crash.
I need a eurobox in California
0-2000000000 in 200000hours hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahah
This was the first car of my parents. It's a cute car with a really little engine that is pretty good for the city. Great video😎
When closing electric windows you can feel the engine struggling :D
I'd imagine that the engine struggles all the time, depending on what you've had for breakfast
I don't think this has electric windows.
what does the windows have to do with the engine
@@bando4728 motor uses power from the engine to close the window
@@zbychu6392 yea but there is no power windows there it doesn't even has the manual ones lmao
Oh this little ant. Love this little thing (for city only, in the road must be scary). Thanks Joe, good test!!!!
Once I did a 200km journey in the Seicento, the car that succeded the Cinquecento. It had the 0,9l and it was not that bad, there are bigger cars that are much worse.
My mom took me and my brother in vacation 3 times with this car, 350 kms on the highway
@@tentifr and sure you enjoyed the journey. You can do It with a 2Cv too but what I mean is that may be is not the most appropiated vehicle ..😉
@@davidcasas3862 one polish guy on UA-cam called kickster was doing few days ago highway trip with cinquecento
@@tomaszmadejski5834 I'm going to search that video. Have to see It, thanks!!!!
I am actually impressed that this thing can go beyond 120kph!
well, at least that's what the speedo has to say :D
Joking, real top speed should be about 125-130 (but those old and cheap Fiat did have quite optimistic speedos, especially at "high" speeds)
Imagine this car was offered with a turbo conversion that was street legal from Novitec. Officially a 102hp and there was much more possible.
Just imagine and have a look at the Cinquecento BiMoto. Two Turbo engines and way over 300hp at the crankshaft.
In Germany we called these cars roofed spark plug or a spark plug with a roof
😂

To prawdziwa Polska legenda 🇵🇱🇮🇹
It is from Italy
No, it is not@@nikolanikola8543
i mean fiat is from italy but this car was only produced in Poland@@nikolanikola8543
My grandpa had one of these in the same color, thought it was the upper trim.
A thing I love about the car is that it's incredibly spacious, it feels like an MPV!
I had a red Cinquecento Sporting back then, with a drivers airbag, red seat belts, bucket seats and brutal 55 hp. Literally every plastic part was loose and rattling. Over 100 km/h you could not understand the radio anymore but it was a lot of fun to drive.
It's pleasant to see how someone test-drives regular or old cars as reviewing the new Ferrari.
My 1st car CC 704 from 94 - this video brings me memories, thx
Yes!! My mother had this car back in the day when I was just a small kid.
It makes my day happier, thank you! Very beautiful and charming car. Love the tiny ones: Ford Ka, Fiat 500, New Beetle.
I remember years ago hiring a Sporting version and it was the most fun I've ever had driving a car. Absolutely bundle of laughs... The later version was also fantastic fun to drive. They were both very nippy and the handle was incredible
Reminds me of my metro 900 ...4 star petrol . Top speed 80 down hill ...my very first car loved it .. cramming all yer mates in and just heading out for the first time happy days. My mate borrowed his mums city metro and blew the engine up !! Great channel ..cheers ...
Looks fun to drive around. Small old underpowered cars have a special fun feeling. You have to really work them out to go and you feel really connected to the car.
What i watch: Ferraris POVs
What youtube recommends me recognising that i will never be able to afford a Ferrari: Fiat cinquecento POV & max acceleration
I don't recommend buying a cinquecento other than for city drive, because that is a death trap

Pierwszy samochód moich rodziców i autko którym uczyłem się jeździć ❤️uwielbiam tego małego potwora
This little thing looks so fun I'm always tempted to buy one when I come across them, and then I remember the mother of a friend told her she could buy any car except for this one because she didn't wanna lose her daughter hahaha
I had once girl who's name was Virginity. But sadly I lost her in this car 😂😂
Get one. Even the small front wheel drive Fiats are creeping up in price. About 10 years ago i could still get a Panda for 250-500 euro with ease, but those are now either scrapped in a vain attempt to lower emissions, or extremely expensive (for the kind of car)
I had two, one for the work run and I bought one for my daughter. I bought both from a motor auction and they were real fun and cheap to run. Both were 1,100 cc so they were pretty quick.
0-100: yes^^.
Thanks for the road test! I guess the sporting version will be really fun when seeing the weight^^.
You will always have fun in a small car
Wow, my dad had the same car in the same color when I was a child ! Brings back some memories.
Good times playing Power Drive on the Sega Genesis, the Cinquecento was always my starter car!
My granfather Have this car... It's fantastic
The law of attraction! 😛 Yesterday I saw this cute little car on the 🇲🇪street, after 100 years, and today Mr. Joe drives it. Crazy 🔮
Thank you, Mr. Joe! 👍🏻🍀
Those cars have become very rare, they used to be really common.

For example, more often you can see models like polski fiat and fiat seicento compared to Cinquecento. I have a burago model Cinquecento 🚗...☺️
We had a Cinquecento Sporting... Amazing little car 😂😍
The car 🚗 for ever.
Thank you 😊
My dad has this car, the max speed was around 160 km/h :D
yeah but with a more powerfull engine than this...
CC700 top speed 150kph with 4 adoults on board.
Not bad at all my friend, imagine that a modern Nissan Leaf full electric also runs about 167km/h haha! So nothing to be ashamed driving small cars. We have family in Italy, and we always drive in some Fiat Punto's, great cars for driving city as they are more than good enough ti drive from Holland to Italy 👍
@@MrFromoutside no way the 700 cc can reach 150 kph. Simply impossible. Maybe you're talking about the 1.103 cm³ version
Just bought it!!! A yellow sporting im so happy first car :)
I had one of them for my first car, but the 1.1 sporting version. Did not have it in mind that terrifying. Its like a shoe box with a radio.
10:04 aaaaah yes, the classic Fiat wobbly speed meter, truly a signature of 90s italian cars
One of my favourite Fiat's ❤️FIAT❤️
Very chill and clean city
I like to watch these videos to learn how to drive in Europe, because I recently moved to Poland, and in this video he is driving in Katowice. Exactly in the city to which I moved. What a coincidence! :D

I love the fact that you stand so far from the steeringwheel and rest your left feet on the clutch pedal GG
Not bad for a 31HP engine. Nice car buddy. Good video.
Everyday I wish more of these cars were easily accessible to the western world

Especially if they make it nowadays, more aerodynamic, new engine, lighterweight, even with manual steering, would be a super achievement and super car.

My first car was a red 1994 Cinq, so much fun to drive
Honestly I love seeing videos of driving this kind of cars, but if I got to drive one I wouldnt like it because old cars are not my thing they're harder to manage than modern ones, I loved the video and subscribed!
Great video, I'm looking forward to you sometime driving a Fiat Palio Weekend 1.6 :)
My mom had a red one 20 years ago, i never forgot this funny little thing
I had one back in 1995, same engine but red color. I miss those days
cool i love this car ❤️ mine is 0.9 liter, max speed i've ever done is 145 km/h.
it is great machine, small and very simple, easy and cheap service
Mt man..Foi oq eu comentei...Ele e um Uno aki pa nois..So q mt diminuido..
I didn't know they had used 0.7 litre engines in these. Here in the UK, we only had the 0.9 litre and 1.1 (Sporting) models.
I still drive my grandma's 1993 0.9L fiat cinquecento. I learnt to drive on this car
It reminds me russian car Oka (or Lada 1111). People called it "capsule of death"
@pasakorius man speaks minecraft language
Lada is very famous here in Brazil. .
I have a Seicento SX 1.1 Fire 54 CV from 2000. Very similar in the shape, a little bit more "curvy", and it's a death machine ahahah The engine is very similar to the Sporting one, no power steering assistent, no abs, no airbags, just 2 disk brakes, basically nothing to help, and I love it. I got only in a single episode a max. speed of 172-173 km/h with the AC off, but only in a very steep descent in the highway, kept this speed for 2 seconds then I decided that I was too young to die in a car that was about to disassemble itself.
Ladna fura 😁🙌👍
I've really got to get myself another Cinquecento or Seicento, they're just like a go kart! Except with a roof an a heater 🙂
That car Will live forever :)

I love this little car 👍😅
Ten egz tutaj, to szrot niewyregulowany moze, maks moc to 25KM z taka predkoscią
