Best car I've owned! Good road holding, zero consumption, if you put sand instead of oil, it goes the same. Bought new in 2002, never done anything other than ordinary maintenance. Last year I wanted a new car and after a long search I found a practically new red 600 from 2010. Fantastic Take note that the other cars in house are Alfa Romeo and Mercedes
@@TK-mh8dnFor sure it's a paradox, I don't compare it to the fantastic Alfas and classic Mercs, though: nice, functional and symple like a scooter on 4 wheels, it has never asked for anything other than to run like a hare on low gasoline and an occasional oil change. @@TK-mh8dn Depends on your perspective. I mean you could call a 250hp rwd car the best car you've owned ever. Or a Ferrari. But best doesn't mean fastest automatically. A car can be really fast and have terrible reliability. I'd call that bad car, because as much of a pleasure as it is to enjoy so much power and sound, constantly having down time is keeping me away from driving it. And since you can't really use that much horse on a normal day, it doesn't really make sense either. So having a 50hp car where you can use all 50 all the time feels way faster. It's really nice. Yes, but the Seicento's 0.9 OHV engine was technically a 40 years old construction (the old Fiat 600's 843 cc ohv engine was almost the same). Aaand because the co2 emission regulations this engine lost 2-3 hp (single-point injection, catalytic converter).
@@agathorthestalker Yes, but Matiz's engine is based on daewoo tico's engine, which is a copy of japan Suzuki Alto from 1980's (41 HP). Matiz has MPI (multipoint injection) instead of carburetor in Tico/Alto

Good ol' Seicento. Was very popular here in Greece 🇬🇷 during the '00s and there are still a lot of em running around today. If we exclude its underpowered engine and the poor safety performance, it's a fancy looking little devil that's cheap and easy to maintain, being optimal for city driving conditions and doing its everyday job fine. P.s it's the first time I ever saw a Seicento without electric windows 🤔 thought those were included in the basics but apparently I was wrong 😜
I agree. I drove 2007 1.1 55 HP facelift model like delivery car. It's named Fiat 600 and it had power windows, ABS, power steering, central locking and AC. Great little city car
