Fun fact: The little dude in this video is called Inet-kun in the game's code (most likely a Japanese way of shortening the English word "Internet"). He explains how to connect your 3DS to the internet (duh) and is actually meant to resemble the two screens of the 3DS, the larger one on top and smaller one below.

You can see him, too! If you blow into your 3DS mic on the home screen, the settings logo on the top screen will spin the speed you blew. and guess who is placed hiding there right behind the internet settings icon? Inet-kun!

This thing makes me miss being a little kid. So many memories of these menus, scouring the eshop for the newest demos, secretly playing my dad’s SMT games, feeding my Zelda obsession, donuts at breakfast with my brother and dad checking Streetpass. Good times.
The 3DS has so much personality put into it. I’m sure it’ll be a memorable console for years to come.

Love finding songs like this cause this is exactly what I would do while menuing through the older Nintendo consoles. Add an entire backbeat and enhancing the melody. It's truly a shame Nintendo has given up on these little tunes. Opening anything that isn't a game on the Switch is depressing silence.

The nostalgia. I remember hearing this when I got my first 2DS XL in 2018... how time flies. My dad bought it for me as a birthday present, as he'd known how much I liked Pokémon and Nintendo from little me begging to gt a mudkip plushie in 1st grade and wanting either X or Y so bad. The DS family is dead in Nintendo's eyes, but not mine!!!

Lol I got a 3DS a month and a half ago, and once a couple weeks ago it was daytime and I just put the internet settings there and I fell asleep to it. That day ended with probably one of the most sleepless nights I’ve ever had in my whole 15 years of living for how much I’ve slept in this music.
3DS internet settings does go hard I can understand why you had such a hard time sleeping when an absolute banger was playing in the background
@@tobybigball actually I meant that it was like noon when I put the 3DS XL on the music, and then I fell asleep until like 16:00 (4:00 pm) then when at night time when it was time to sleep I had an almost entirely sleepless night because of how I slept during the day lol

@@Konata_TheRappa07 dude I was sick a while back and I had this annoying ear ringing sound that at the beginning was so bothersome to sleep with. When I would eventually sleep I would just wake up 2 hours later and could not fall back to sleep because of it. I hated it so much

The low-quality "playing out of a speaker" filter in the intro just brought back memories of 7yo me excitedly waiting for my dad to type the wifi password on my Blue Nerf Case 3DS XL I got for christmas that same day, I wasn't allowed to know it, still isn't. my 3DS, still kicking as i play tomodachi life on it happily like nintendo never discontinued it and it's still the newest console:

I spend around 8 years of my child life to connect my 3ds to internet. And finally when I got it working, there was not much left, I'll never knew how the miiverse was working, but I heard that I was not missing much. Also a few games, like Mario kart 7, and smash bros, but overall, I just felt like I missed the bus.
