I love rob! Aloha Fishing is such a great old school fisherman shop I love it
Recommendations:
For night drop to get bit on the drop I’d recommend you as a right handed reel fisherman do
- Place the rod grip (while dropping) under your left arm so that you can swing it up after engaging the drag to set the hook when the line goes slack.
** The Goal is to lessen the time to ‘switch hands’ 😢that more than likely will add to your connections at night.
Great video to show how much pre-planning you did for this trip and to see your generosity to loan out all that gear and tackle!!
Cheers

Thanks for the tip. That makes a lot of sense to just be able to put it in gear and wind as quick as possible. Yeah like 3 days of prep to go on a trip is what it typically takes for me to get ready for a long trip.
whoa! how many boats were in that one spot? haven't been out on an overnight trip yet, but hopefully this summer
What was the moon like that trip? Just curious if it had any affect on the bite
The trip was 6 days before the New moon. I think it bit better 4 days before.
If you were going on a full day trip how many rods would you bring for yourself?
Typically in the summer with the potential for tuna to be around I bring 3. 20lb, 40, and 80-100lb set ups
Bach trip!!!
dope of you to bring so much gear for the homies. how can I join a charter with yall?!
I think I’m gonna try to organize a charter every year and hook everyone up with gear glad to see someone would be interested in going
Such a good lookin blue fin
Nice Fish can i come with you sometime
🔥
1/2 of your vid is ?? intro. No bueno
That's because there wasn't much action. Early season trips sometimes play out like that.
