CDO Tech Tips: Tactacam App overview

This Tech tip episode goes over the Tactacam Reveal App and its content. In this video we explain different parts of the app and what can be changed to get HD Video content from the app as well as set up galleries and change modes for night time and video.

Thanks for the video. Question for you. When you’re looking at your camera in the app, what does the duration of time mean on the far right? Mine keeps changing, and just want to make sure it’s active

That's just time since camera last checked in. It does that as a status check

So I just bought the camera a few hours ago. I thought that if the camera is triggered, it will take the photo and video send them to your phone and then you’re able to view them. Are you not? Well, I can see the photo but it doesn’t send the video or something. Is that something I have to pay separately? I’m really confused on this because I’m trying to save money not spend a crap ton. I’m just now starting to get into hunting and I heard really great things about this camera. That’s one reason I bought it.

So you have to go into settings and change it from photo to photo+video. Then you can request individual pictures to send a video. It will charge you either $5.00 for 50 requests or you can pay $9.00 a month to turn on the extra add on for unlimited. Hope this helps

How do they get to your galley so fast. Mine could take forever to go to gallery once saved from video

Certain cameras like the xb and pro are almost instant for video transfers
