Optimal harmonierendes Duo. 🙏
You should, you little brother is amazing! It's been almost 10 years since this was first posted, and I find myself coming back again and again to listen to it. I think is the best rendition of this duet!
+Nelson Alexander. Coincido totalmente. Saludos cordiales.
I am a bit shocked that you can think of competition and "destroying" other boys choirs after listening to this immortal beauty, this supernatural music, my friend.
whoever you are you missed the point. go troll somewhere else. I love all the choirs of Europe. sang in one many years ago. for many years escolania has set the standard along with wiltenor of Austria and tolzer Vienna boys and others.in short get a life cause it sounds like you need one
Escolania reached the pinnacle of greatness with this rendition. Other choirs fall flat. I heard a choir in Vienna sing this composition. Sounded boring. I wanted to jump up and scream Escolania Escolania Escolania...
I completely agree with You! This is a unique record that I believe also evokes a sense of impending miracle. What other boys' choir can have such brilliant boy soprano and boy alto at the same time, whose vibrato makes a stunning impression on the listener?! Apparently, this is the merit of the outstanding choir director Bernat Vivankos. But that's not all! Take a closer look: from time to time, the face of 9-year-old Lluís Travesset (the best treble in the history of European music, according to most experts) appears from behind the left (for us) shoulder of the blond treble David Pla. This unique recording can be considered an omen.
@@Alexander_Goosev wherever Bach is at, I know he is crying tears of joy; cause the right voices are finally singing his song the way it was meant to be sung. And speaking of best boy treble, give a listen to Sasha Cherkos
@@Alexander_Goosev It was i. I was at a concert in Vienna in 2018, the people singing were very good until they reached this particular song. They dragged it along til others in the audience started squirming and wished the song a speedy end. I wanted to jump up and scream Escolania Escolania Escolania. But I didn't...
Heavenly ❤❤❤❤

Quite possibly the best performance of this piece I have ever heard. Well done young men.
The beauty and depth interpreted by the two soloists is breathtaking! I watch this video often for meditation and tranquility. Thank you..
Christ lag in Todes Banden, first time I heard it on 78 rpm records. I was stunned.
Many years have passed. And it sounds excellent..An all time classic by two icons of their generation
Really proud of my little brother!! I still feel thrilled when I see this video!

The current Catalans from Montserrat now again will come to Deutschland. They are my "secret love"...:)
This is the best rendition of this composition. No one comes close. This is the standard rendition. After all these years. It is still number 1...
Again and again, I am drawn to this particular rendition. Two masters exercising greatness. No one comes close...
Zwei wunderbare Solostimmen! - Fantastisch gesungen!

Marvelous@
excellent performance for such young artists!
Wundervoll und klar zugleich.
Faultless: very few will experience the pleasure of blending one's voice with another to meld into a unique shared experience.
Bach is bugging in the place where great spirits go. I know he is weeping with joy
Such beautiful voices!
Remarkably pairing of two different voices yet completely compatible.
Beautifully sung, they blend so well together, thank you

Bach was Thomas-Kantor

Back in 2009,when this concert took place, I think David Pia and Llorenc Niclos could have singlehandedly destroy any of the boys choirs of Europe
