Have Max battles gotten harder? I was playing yesterday and getting my butt kicked. Usually, I walk through it but somehow, it seems more difficult now.
Mega Banette is not useless its the 3rd best attacker and in some cases works better than gengar without its poison typing, besides new players dont have gengar energy, also Blaziken is better with Blaze Kick now

Is it because it would be the first Dynamax Ghost? Since Gengar can Gigantamax, do you think Niantic would allow Dynamax Gastly to transform into Gigantamax? In the main game, this is only possible if we give a Dynamax Pokémon Max Soup, allowing them to Gigantamax instead of just Dynamax. Do you think Niantic would make us farm Gastly again, specifically for Gigantamax, or could they make Gigantamax Gengar available as a 5-star Max Raid Battle, making us farm the same Pokémon again for its Gigantamax form? I feel that they will make us farm Gigantamax Gengar...
I was in the same boat but found a near-ish group on campfire that is active and I try to join. Too bad the one located in my town is dead. I’ve tried thanking people who help with local raids or ask to get knocked out of gyms but no response. Drive 40 minutes and it’s a whole other story.

How lucky has your bunz been lately ? I did 5 Zacian raids , I got the classic color 15/15/14 and a Shiny which iv wasn’t worth mentioning, but I plan to do another 30plus more before it’s gone..
I don’t get the Dynamax raid hate. I did three free raids today, one Zacian and two charmanders. Didn’t cost me a dime, 10k XP, 2 total rare candy, two shiny checks, two shots at a hundo. They need to fix some stuff but they’re nice to have in my opinion.
Because the energy cost goes up to do the raids, the normal raids cost a raid pass no matter what raid you do so when you get stronger can do better raids without costing you more to do them. The hate from you not being able to use old pokemon in dynamax which means it might as well just be a separate game and have to get legacy moves again on the pokemon you already had them on e.g had a beldum community day but they are all useless because cannot use them to dynamax have to catch a new beldum with good stats to get the move in december.
@@basillah7650 while that's true there easy and they have a high chance at good stats my second dynamax beldum is better than any of the beldums I got during community day
Yup!!! No candy reciebed that i noticed! And i have been kicked out of max battles. Latter, not an issue, bcuz dont have to heal, and energy not gone. Just annoying
I would NOT invest in the gen8 starters too much until their GMAX forms release and use the Kanto ones in the meantime. It would be a BIG resource waste having the Gen 8 DMAX starters built only for the GMAX forms to release shortly after.

Power spots have been fixed for me. I've gotten 5 Candy's multiple times today from leaving my pokemon at power spots.
Hopefully, the Dynamax Pokemon caught could Gigantamax, because in main series it cannot if not mistaken.
