I couldn't sleep, so look I made you some content of our new Olympic champions.
Your slo-mo segments are well timed, very good. It is always good to study people who get gold medals.
How expectations change. Delighted to qualify to Olympic champions in a matter of weeks. Brilliant.
I wouldn’t even say “delighted” to qualify so much as relieved they met their own expectations. I heard that the New Zealand National Rowing Fed were hoping FOQR would be canceled and that they would auto qualify based on 2019 World Champ results, so I could imagine they were almost annoyed they had to go through the formality of FOQR.
But going through FOQR and then having to strictly quarantine, and then going on to win the Olympics? Absolutely legendary.
I found it really helpful in college to watch videos like this before practice and visualize their good technique while I worked on my stroke. Boy, I must say, this footage is a step above. Wish I had this resource a few years ago. Nice job Eamon
Cheers Zach, glad you liked the footy as much as I do!
Beautiful technique and timing. Just spot on.
Absolute class catches
thank you
I’ve been looking everywhere to find a glimpse of the kiwi’s
Tony O'Connor (the kiwi coach) has put alot of training footage on his UA-cam page.
awesome good work guys
It obviously didn't matter, but it's interesting to see how little Bond matched his blade work. He rowed deeper every stroke and carried his blade lower on every recovery.
Smooth
🙏pure sincrony
0:58 and 1:27 wow this channel has damn good rowing cinematography
Aww shucks
Hamish 😢🔥
Inspired to start rowing
How is it going?
Where can I find full-length final’s video?//
.... No 7, the legendary Hamish Bond.
I think this video was shot from the Rotsee, Lucerne, Switzerland.
I'm in 2 seat but all G.
He’s in 2 seat, and yes, along the Rotsee
... Thanks for the correction, it is that in my time (50 years ago) No. 7 was the current No. 2 of today, it follows the fact that Hamish Bond simply belongs to another category, to another planet.
A cordial greeting.
@@danilocarno well there you go then. 👍
Is anyone aware of another crew going through the last chance regatta and winning the Olympics? I can't think of one
Ilse Paulis and Maaike Head in 2016 in the lw2x. Still, that doesn’t take anything away from NZL’s unbelievable performance.
@@miguel.leite78 Ahhh fantastic! Thank you
@Axel Dickinson Stefanos Ntouskos olympic champion in the skiff also qualified through the european olympic & paralympic qualification regatta last april 😮
@@miguel.leite78 Ahhh ok cheers
金メダルおめでとう㊗️
東京オリンピックおめでとうございます。 優れたゲーム
Olympics are over yet we still can't see the full final?
I know... It's crazy to me that they're cropping EVERYTHING??
I'm disappointed they are not rowing in a black boat
Wouldn’t surprise me if they’d already gotten it ready to be shipped to Tokyo…
Shame they missed so much water at the catch......'those dam cleaver blades!'
