Glad this got recommended to me. Struggling and going through similar stuff rn, and this really made me stop and realize how many small, fun memories I've had with my old and new friends over the years. I oftentimes put this immense pressure on myself to succeed and be someone who isn't just another normal everyday guy. But in the end, even if I became the richest most successful individual of the century- I still wouldn't feel any more complete than I do right now. Sucess will never cover up my fears and regrets- so I shouldn't look forward thinking that only once I've became "someone" that I can be happy. Having goals, passions, and hobbies isn't incompatible with taking in the small things in life and choosing to smile through the disappointments, hardships, and self-doubt. Needed to put these thoughts down on paper, and this video helped me to do that- so thank you for that ✨
hearing that made my day :D thanks so much for watching! you are speaking absolute facts my guy - you managed to capture my point better than i did AHAHA honestly i really didn't expect people to find this so hearing that my rambling was helpful in some small way to someone is really meaningful :) i hope you work through everything~ you got this and you're not alone o7
As someone who is going to enter their senior year of high school, this video resonates deeply with me. I find that at times I get absorbed into things like work and school and other outside projects and I, without any ill intention, neglect some of my friendships. You're right, there is a lot of pressure. There is a lot of pressure to figure out what it is you want to do after high school and on your performance. As for me, I already know what I want to do, but it's going to take a lot of work. This video taught me that despite the work I have put in now, there is still much to be done in terms of balancing work and social life. This video is a reminder that even though one may have a busy life, there still can be time for social interaction and life events. I, for one, need to enjoy those small moments. Even my Dad, who I respect so much for his work ethic and hustle nature, tells me to have fun and enjoy life. Even someone like him, who I consider at times to be the busiest man on earth, has time to enjoy life and have those small moments with other people and myself. Well, they're called small moments for a reason, right? It's the quality of the time, not the quantity at the end of the day. But, truly, this balance between career building and social life is something that I need to work on, because I fear that I may not be able to live life to it's fullest potential. But, I also fear that I may use my time in an incorrect manner. Thank you for uploading this video. This really made me reexamine myself and the way that I spend my time. I will try to be more present, and try to enjoy each moment from now on. Best of wishes to you and your loved ones!
thanks for watching! definitely valid concerns to have(esp in this economy) but at the end of the day there's really no WRONG way to use up your time, as long as you're enjoying it -- investments in friendships are investments in your happiness, which is really what everything boils down to, right? (working hard -> money -> security -> happiness) many opportunities come organically from the people around you! enjoying yourself + your time with others and career building aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, so don't feel like you're always giving one thing up for another. best of luck to you as well especially with college app season(if that's what you're going for)! and most importantly enjoy the end of high school! trust me, you're not gonna sacrifice anything long term if u senior slide a bit and have a little fun :)
idk anything going on i just saw this in my recommended but this video is amazing so real and so true and like ??? helpful to hear?? idk if that makes sense . good video thank you
I loved this video man, I was wondering how you made some of the edits like the airplane to Japan and when your crawling on the ground, what do you use to edit?
thanks! i use davinci resolve (it's free hehe) and really good for color grading and QOL stuff - i personally prefer it over premiere but i've been using resolve for longer so maybe that's just me me crawling on the ground was a tracking shot filmed with a gimbal and then i added some camera shake and some film damage (stock effects from resolve) and played around with sliders and desaturated it for the look, and then got a bunch of sfx (sound is the most important thing imo) for background and then for the shots i added quick intense camera shakes for impact and keyframed in gune ffects the japan i applied for google earth studio they have an editor for you and then the airplane stuff i'd look up fusion tutorials that do simple keyframe transformations
This man just dropped the craziest teaser video of all time and thought we wouldn't notice! We NEED to hang out this summer, it's been too long. Keep up the good work and much love ❤️
