Best vocal of this tune on YT, girl you need me playin guitar and mando and singing harmony.. such a sweet soulful vocal performance here. Really nice job!
Nicely done. Many deadheads ask for this song to be played at their funerals, or they play it to say goodbye to a loved one. It is clearly related to death and loss, in a most positive way. My wife of 47 years left this brokedown palace about 9 months ago. This is one of the songs I listen to when I need to feel my grief deeply, and also bring up happy memories and my gratitude to the universe for bringing her to me and keeping her by my side for so long. Thank you, from this 73-year-old deadhead, for giving me another version to listen to. You have a lovely voice. "Fare you well, fare you well; I love you more than words can tell. Listen to the river sing sweet songs, to rock my soul."
BEAUTIFUL cover of a beautiful song. You made it yours while being so faithful to the origins. As an aging (maybe aged at this point) Deadhead, you've given me a reason to smile in an otherwise dreary evening. Thank you. Selfishly, I'd love to hear you cover "Ripple" by the Dead.
Yes, you can sing so amazing, I'm sure you get that all the time. 😉 and how pretty your smile is... We are all lucky to have discovered you and your pioneering style! Thank you! George Harrison "My Sweet Lord" no hurries, and I am sure I will enjoy anything you play.
I truly love your cover but why change the chorus and chorus only? It’s not in tune and isn’t how the song goes and is hard to follow against the music - but beautiful job.
Great voice but what is it about these young female singers that compel them to not be able to pronounce the words but sing it like for Mazzy Star or some other pseudosexual affectation to make them sound more enticing. Just sing it for God sakes, annunciate the words, let the song speak for itself.
Somewhere in the heavens, Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia are smiling down at you, loving how you've taken their song and made it your own.
I’m on a journey to find & listen to Brokedown Palace covers & yours is so beautiful. I love your voice, and your take. WOW. Thank you!

I'm in a grateful dead cover band and one of my bandmates sent me here. It's really pleasant hearing a non jam band cover this.
Beautiful lady, Beautiful voice, Beautiful song.

As an almost 70 year old Dead Head from long ago until today. Well done indeed! I appreciate it, and you!

Adding to Pamela's constructive criticism -
I think that your beautiful voice doesn't need so much, if any, reverb. Love it, regardless, though ❤
