    Draymond literally put Rudy in a headlock, Punched Nurkic in the face, Got ejected in the first 4 minutes of a game and grabbed Patty Mills by the neck all in the 23-24 season. It’s almost impressive how much trouble he caused for his team in one year.

      Star players in general get a lot more leeway than role players in the NBA. Murrary throwing stuff on the floor during live play and Embiid pulling Mitchell Robinson, a player with injury history on his legs, as he was jumping during last playoffs. Both Murrary and Embiid deserved suspensions for their antics, and would have got them had they not been star players.

    notice how him "taking accountability" is so often giving himself stealth compliments.
    "my selfish unselfishness cost us that game"
    "if i played in 2016 then we win that championship so i do feel it's my fault, but i dont feel wrong for what i did"
    weather true or not, he seems to always add on some self praise to any statements of "taking accountability".
    how often has he simply said "that was my fault" and thats it? without implying that his pitfalls are actually cases of his strengths being too great (sElFiSh UnSeLfIsHnEsS, and btw he apparently had jokes about westbrook's statpadding but had no problem doing it himself for trip-dubs) or that he's the sole component which makes the warriors win ("if i play, we definitely win. i dont regret what i did tho")?

Player who ball hogs and is not a clinical shooter or scorer. Player who turns the ball. Player that is in a 140+ million contract making more than RJ Barrett or Tyler Herro. Gtfoh. Poole was overrated by the fans. He benefited playing with Steph’s gravity. Hasn’t been great without Steph. 2022 playoffs. Even in his second stint the Cavs roster construction was horrible. And in LA, the only moves he's gotten are AD and Westbrook. One was the best decision possible, the other was bad. I can promise you he didn't want Caruso to walk, or for the entire championship roster to get disassembled. Jeanie's a cheapskate and Rob's good when he tries but often lazy, as seen by Darvin Ham somehow sticking with the job for over a year.
      Also im pretty sure the dude was saying LeBron is never the one traded, and is always considered bigger than the organization. That's how Superstars work. With someone as consistent as LeBron who can fit in any competent system (which he's only been given a few times), and someone who draws in as much money as him, you have to at least try to cater to his needs and playstyle. Even if he's no longer a top 5 player in the league, he's adapted his game and has paired very well as the engine of the offense feeding AD.

ZO was harshly criticized for his mistake and had to show remorse.
      I just give these examples to show how current day media and these teams not holding these players accountable is really a reflection of the more decline of society. 20 years ago, Draymond's bs would not have been tolerated. Ted Bundy had fan girls because it was hard for some young women to believe a handsome successful white guy could kill so many people. Trump said like 30 years ago that he believes black people are genetically predisposed to being poor and bad with money, and not only was he not punished harshly, he just got elected for his second term as president despite being older than the last guy who was called "too old" for the last four years! Michael Jackson was embroiled in controversy for his proximity and relations with minors, but people still defend him with their lives literally just cause he sang man in the mirror. There are still people in this country who try to justify the Confederacy in the civil war as "more about state's rights than civil rights."

    dray shouldve been traded sooner than klay. klay was wondering how did draymond was able to get a huge contract but FO refuses to give him what he want. as valuable as draymond is for the warriors he is costing the team and curry problems more than that 0-10 klay had in the play in. if I were the warriors I would trade draymond sooner or later to get some future picks back before he loses his value.

    What blows my mind more than anything Draymond has done is how the NBA and TNT are giving him a platform. They're endorsing a person who is toxic as all hell and who incites violence everywhere he goes. How on earth do they consider him a positive role model for the sport and their brand? It's insantiy

    • @shahin7676
      @shahin7676 4 місяці тому +6

      They know he's not a positive role model. But because he's controversial, he'll end up raking in the views - the NBA LOVES to masquerade and pretend they care about positive values, but how they've handled so many situations over the years (Kyrie's refusal to get his vaccination in NY for example) showcases just how little they actually care. As long as Draymond brings in views and they profit from it, they'll keep him on for many years to come.

    If Green hadn't knocked Poole out, the Dubs had a good shot at breaking their own season record for wins. Draymond shattered the team's cohesiveness which is why they were so terrible on the road. It's a bit much to ask Poole to come to work every day potentially coming in physical contact with his UNPUNISHED abuser. Draymond should have been banned from their arena and the police called for his battery. By banning Green the team could have rallied as a group, more than making up for Green's diminishing abilities.

    My theory on Draymond is that he can’t emotionally cope with the fact that he and the warriors are no longer contenders. They got old and the league figured out how to beat them, and that’s not something he can handle.
    I think blaming him for 2019 is utterly absurd since I to this day think the warriors could have come back from 3-1 if Klay didn’t get injured, and I don’t think they would have won 2023 anyway but the punch really doomed any chance they had.
    One question to those who have read this far: it’s widely documented that players like Michael Jordan and Kobe were NOT good teammates. MJ literally punched Steve Kerr in the face and yet you worship the ground he walks on. Why is that?

    • @TheManofThings777
      @TheManofThings777 4 місяці тому +1

      I mean, I'd be inclined to believe this were it not for the fact that they won an NBA title 2 years ago. They are absolutely not too old to win or anything like that because 2 years is, I think, not enough time to suddenly become ancient.
      You bring up MJ punching Steve Kerr. Well, one, the 90s were a different time, and two, the Bulls didn't win because of "team chemistry" the way you could argue the Warriors did. They won because Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time.
