Of course the Broadway version is Much better in my opinion but in the movie you get to see more of Spot Conlon's character and the whole King of New York scene makes a lot more sense. Plus my favorite line "When I dream, on my own, I'm alone but I ain't lonely, for a dreamer night's the only time of day" is from the movie🙃
Um, okay. It sounded like a guy in Topeka, KS singing a Broadway song. He did a good job singing said song - I couldn’t do it. But…I didn’t ache for Santa Fe, nor did I believe that he’s a kid from the streets. *That’s* not Broadway.

Izzyy nooo the movies plot was way better and way better explained. But the show has better scenes and performing
