The nostalgia from these films is incredible, they were one of a kind. It'll be impossible for the series to have the same impact imo. For 10 years this cast and crew were Harry Potter, you can't replace or remake that. I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but THIS right here is the Wizarding World.

The way you can see them progressively getting darker. I've always admired the filmography of the films, how they managed to show that with each movie, the circumstances' direness just kept becoming more and more apparent

What great movie clips these are. To see their adorable little faces transform into young adults is precious. Very sad about the young man who I believe played the part of Crabb one of Malfoy's buddies. I hope he is doing better today.

The only movie they actually wore school robes and uniforms, and hats .. the rest they wore muggle clothes. Odd as the books said many times wizarding ppl had great difficulty assembling a muggle outfit.
yeah, although they also were muggle clothes in this one and there are moments when they use uniforms in all the movies

The new series should be animated and extremely faithful to the books. If you want to do a live action series do it about the marauders.
For those wondering why the Goblet of Fire arrival isn't on here, I'm guessing it's cuz it's overshadowed by the arrival of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students. Like after the Hogwarts Express arrives, we don't see how the Hogwarts students get to the school this time cuz of all that. Unlike the book where they go by the usual carriages as the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students arrive later.

I like how in Philosopher’s stone (at about 2:15) Maggie Smith is filmed with the camera pointing up, rather than face on, as if the filmmakers want to give us the same impression that she’s giving the new students - that she’s quite an imposing and stern woman
