- Heart performing If Looks Could Kill from their self titled album during their brigade tour in 1990.
Although this track never charted particularly well for them, it is one of their best live songs in my oppinion.

It's a mystery how Ann has been able to sing like that for so long. She soars through this song like an eagle.

I think this the most Badass Heart Song ever.............and the Harmony between Ann/Nancy is incredible!! I love how Nancy is just running around & shredding it but she makes it pack to the mic for that crucial duo!! The Wilson Sisters are Goddesses of Rock!!
The spare vocal harmony with Nancy, "Please Please Baby Don't Hurt Me No More" and "Lie Again" exemplify the "less is more" effective phrasing. Nancy, actually running with guitar from the trio of guitarists to her mic shows these performers know EXACTLY what they are doing. Chaotic thunderous rock may be the appeal,, but they come scripted, rehearsed, polished and professional. Musicianship and showmanship were always front and centre in Heart's live performances.

Absolutely rehearsed to a T..they always played that way .. they put the P in professional their entire career. .if you saw Heart you saw pros!

heart if looks could kill great song sounds so much like a true metal song, i know heart is not a metal band but there a great band. heart is easily a top 20 band ever and not just female i mean every band.
Check out the metal cover by Primal Fear. It easily could have been a Dio song.
Who cares about genre labels? They were a great rock n roll band. And they are respected by all the harder bands like Soundgarden and Alice in chains and even Slipknot and Metallica and Slayer
The Wolf - is also one of Hearts heavier songs. Almost sounds like Alice in Chains - who they influenced.

Before I was a fan of the Doors,Jimmie Hendrix,or Pink Floyd for that matter;I started with Heart.Ann and Nancy Wilson were a big part of that reason I love Rock.Being from Detroit,you either loved Jazz,R&B,House,or Hip-Hop if you are black...I loved it all.That's why it's called Motown and Detroit Rock City,coz everyone loves the music.

I wasn't around for their 70s folk rock stuff, and really wasnt just a baby at the tale end of their 80s heyday. But for me this is heart self titled all the way to brigade. THeir best era in my opinion.

Haha I know, I couldn't think of a more appropriate name to describe that era. Cause really the'yre a rock band with folk elements during that era. Where as the 80s era was that glam, pop, hard rock, which was indicative of the time period.
Heart in the 1970s was just Led Zeppelin with women. And awesome. Pop Heart, Folk Heart, and Rock Heart combine to make one of the best bands ever.
Ann's voice definitely peaked on this era, 1985-1993

Been a Heart fan since I was 3yrs old. Ann has always been the prettier sister. And these chicks totally paved the way for all the other female rockers. Stevie Nicks is rockin too. Two of the best voices ever to sing.

Was fortunate to see this epic band in Wendover, NV, a few years ago, and they're as great as EVER!!

I saw them on this tour in Columbia, Maryland in summer 1990. They were awesome! I wish they still had this lineup.
I don't care if Ann isn't thin like she used to be a long time ago. Its all about her talent and who she is! Its maddening how she was treated by the industry starting back in the 80's when she started getting heavy. In the videos they only gave her face shots and kept her in the back ground most of the time. But thats all history now.

Heart is one of my favorite bands ever, Led Zeppelin is right next to heart, love both bands, i love the fact that heart are women and have proven that they are able to rock too. the are awsome
