I gotta say, I have never witnessed anyone making Dollar $tore makeup colors & quality of products work out as well as you just did with such a positive outlook, as you were "Trusting the process".You look really really good even with the issues you had to deal with to make some products work out for your skin tone. Seems as you gave honest opinions about the products even if it was a negative review for a couple of them, you still spoke your truth without bashing them with an attitude, that is so refreshing these days how pleasant you and this video is & I look forward to seeing more from you which is why I subscribed. Regardless of my age, I still feel I can get a fair opinion on what one might expect from a brand still considering skin tones and skin types.

Exactly, they must realize & aware they are testing lower priced products from a general store, so they might find an affordable hidden gem, or give us an idea not to try out certain products, or options to make them work or even show us ideas we can do to get a good look and how to achieve it. So your right, why do some act like they are shocked with strong smells or quality is not up to par as they intentionally produced the video about lower priced makeup? Then act like they are shocked and appalled by the products! They just wasted both their time & ours if they, the UA-camr mislead themselves about the makeup they are showing us.

I have most of those shadow palettes from LA Colors. The one that is my favorite is the all brown palette that has a silver shimmer in it. So I start out with light brown, then dark brown, and use my finger to apply the shimmer. It's stunning once applied. When it comes to mascaras, LA Colors has a tubing mascara in a pink metallic tube. Its really good IMHO. I use this mascara everyday. Its $4.50, I think. I'm on my first tube of it, but I plan to buy another one once this one runs out. The other mascara that I also like that is sold at DT is from Wet n' Wild in the teal green tube. I use that one too. Its a wet formula whereas the LA Colors one is thick. Some people compare the LA Colors mascara to Thrive Cosmetics tubing mascara.

Jas you always make such beautiful makeup looks no matter where you get your makeup from. I love that you used that foundation for liquid contour. I have started using the elf halo glow liquid filter in a few shades darker for liquid contour/bronzer and it makes my skin look so glowy and gorgeous! Better than any high end product I’ve tried. Maybe you can try that out some time. Just a thought 😊 love the drugstore/DT recommendations! Always fun and never disappoints.

😍I must go back to the dollar tree. I was there today. I picked up a brown LA Colors mascara I was excited to see this at Dollartree you hardly ever see brown mascaras, I also picked up LA Colors pink blush, and I also found the Vaseline cocoa butter skin glow lotion. Originally it was a Walmart trip reference to your last haul for the brown covergirl mascara. I love how it can be simple but cute. I love the Ioni blush must pick up the peach, and I love the IONI Gloss it is good to keep in your purse on the go.
I wish you wouldn't think you r cheating. I'm glad these shades didn't work @ 1st! BC lbh dollar tree's shade selection will not be catering to everyone's skin tone prob. anytime soon. So by you showing how to fix something ALOT of us struggle with (esp. when buying from alot of drugstore brands or online) is GENIUS! I've seen you use it several times & it always comes out perfect! Also L.A Girl is super affordable! Another great video as usual!! U R the best! 🙌💕

I love high end eyeshadow & ive really enjoyed the Lucky palette for everyday looks. The new Ioni blushes are incredible btw, the packaging is freaking gorgeous (victorian fairy tales style illustration), and the shade happy spells/pink rose is a perfect bright matte, & beauty spell/salmon is basically a coral highlighter (it might be the same exact color as the peach blush but it was very luminous on me) works great with a very light hand. And the sparkleliner looks so much like actual christmas lights, i get so many holiday memories just by applying the green, i even bought back ups in 2 shades.
Dollar General carries Believe beauty and their mascaras are excellent. Ive tried them all and noticed all are manufactured in Italy, which would explain the quality. From one budget babe to another ❤
I LOVE believe beauty esp the foundation (per Jas's recommendation 😌) and the mascara in the purple packaging is my fav!
the concealer looks like a tinted moisturizer that can compete with highend tints..it looks flawless
I'm not that mad about those eyeshadow palettes, they look like good beginner eyeshadows or if you're someone who likes that type of eye look.

Besides the Mascara and Brow products being duds, the rest of the products were not bad. I really like the Blush and the lip combo.

I have the b pure light medium foundation and the medium dark foundation and I just use the medium as a contour like u did and also b pure has this pretty pink shade blush that’s so pretty u should try and look for 😊😉☺️
The ioni lash glue liner is amazing. Sticks super well and helps people like me who can’t get lashes to stick actually get them stuck down.

Exactly another reason why the cheaper makeup is tough. No color selection. I also dislike the additives in the makeup. I go for organic when I can.
I’ve never tried Dollar Tree mascaras but I really like Wet N Wild’s waterproof mascaras, they’re also only $3 and some change at Walmart! 😄

I love love loved their Starry Mineral blush, and LA Colors blushes. They are super pigmented and stayed for a long time. Also loved the LA Colors Lip Duo Gloss and lipstick. So good!

I think that you tried all of these perfectly ! At least you clarified which products need help of other “slight better quality” products like how you mixed the foundation is amazing. But out of all products the winged eyeliner definitely gave 10/10 .
The LA Colors cream contour sticks make great eye crayons for a base or in the corner/crease. And depending on the shade of shadow & skintone, sometimes these crayons are great for blending color with a subtle ombre effect, from outer corner to inner. They can also de-shimmer textured areas & just sort of blend into the look. I have all the contour stick options, never use them as intended, but they all get utilized frequently as bases & "fixers".
I love these from you! Your the best! 😘 Literally the only makeup tutorial that I own almost EVERYTHING!!! 🌷🩷💐 I NEEDED THIS!! The only thing that really doesn't work for me is that mascara! I gave it to my 10 year old for fun! Works for her lol ! And she's right artistry and tools and a little drugstore mascara/foundation/brows . Mixing, matching, skin prep making it work and for whatever dollar tree isn't good at YET there's always dollar general believe beauty is the next best affordable thing! Elf/wet n wild, nyx. Babe on a budget! Life is real! I love that you added in a little skin care I haven't used much from there... I'll have to check out the serums etc. You did a wonderful job!

I bought a lipstick slash gloss today in the color clarity and it’s pretty it’s like a hot pink but not too too bright
I honestly love the l.a color matte lips stick it has a matte finish but I’d not dry at all I got a Mocha color for fall and omg I love how it feels they also have some new color liquid eyeliner that are not bad at all
