Modern traffic lights in a dangerous intersection (Chromite Dr & Monroe St)

This is a night video I did of when the road was just a ghost town because it’s often late at the night during this time. Normally a lot of people cross here and a lot of traffic would go by here. A mix of elementary and high school students cross the street to get to their homes, which is because in elementary school is also very close here.

Traffic signals info:
All 12 red, yellow and green lights are LED
All 4 pedestrian signals are LED countdown
These signals are owned by the Santa Clara Unified School District

Hello, this might confuse you but I go to the school near this intersection. Something that happened to my school in the morning. The fire alarm went off in the morning and all students (including me) had to evacuate. The alarm spread from the makerspace class but I don’t know the exact location that it started. A rally was not the cause. There was a faulty wire.

Update: 100 hours later after this video, the Polara EN2 navigators in this video have broken and were replaced with new Polara iNS buttons with the exact same walk sound audio as the old buttons, which is the voice on the location.

What's vintage and dangerous about this intersection?

@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 so, there is no crosswalk on one side and also lots of traffic would blast by me here very often and that’s exactly why it’s dangerous. What’s vintage about this is because this intersection has existed long ago and the traffic lights are actually modern.
