I honestly thought the “I wasn’t part of that.” Line for raising his kids was cause he was dead for most of their lives. He came back cause of the tournament and was brought back to life cause of Buu. So he’s been officially back in their lives for a barely any time.
You're right. In the entirety of Z, Goku is dead for 8 years (after the Raditz fight and after Cell), and in space for 1 year ( after Frieza) learning instant transmission. He misses the first 6 years of Goten and half of Gohan's life.

Cuz it has been sometime since they kidnapped dende so even if they did, they can wish him back with the demon realm dragonballs. Hence why Goku wants to get these as well. As not only is it fun ofc, but it’s a nice plan b. But they did also say they wanted to do something with dende, so it appears they wouldn’t kill him.
Goku has said in every episode that they need to save Dende, but I agree that there is no sense of urgency. We even got into a fight with the Tamagamis because of Glorio. He manipulated them into gathering dragonballs that they could wish to be adults again or get Dende back, but I feel Glorio or Arinsu want the wish for themselves.

Well it was said dabura tried and failed and depending on when dabura made his attempt these tamagami would have to be a ssj2 level threat. So it wouldnt surprise me if goku has to push himself to ssj2 just to fight on its level.
A Cell saga SSJ2 threat so basically a base form threat now. Which adds up since dabura couldn't even come close to the tamagami's and despite that Goku needed SSJ because Tamagami 3 is ~a SSJ2 multiplier times stronger than Dabura

Something to keep in mind about Dabra is that we only know of his strength after he got “Majinified” by Babidi, which does increase the affected’s power. Majin Dabra is about as strong as Cell, but we don’t know how exactly strong he was before he met Babidi. Seeing as how every demon we met in Daima so far were those Goku could zero-to-low diff them on, being the strongest in the realm doesn’t really seem like much of an impressive feat. Really it comes down to how much of their adult strength has Goku and Co. retained in their kid bodies, and if they’ve retained enough to fair well against the Tamagami.
Something that I think needs to be seriously considered when talking about Saiyans and the Demon Realm is that their Oozaru forms have pointed ears. What if they actually are from the Demon Realm? The thing that makes this interesting is that it would mean that the Great Ape form was actually their natural state and that their known base forms arose once they got to the Mortal Realms. It could be the case that if Goku and Vegeta still had their tails that they would have instantly transformed upon landing there.

I think if Piccolo and Vegeta went with them a whole lot changes for one Piccolo is pretty no nonsense and usually spends most of his time outside at night so he would probably stay outside to watch the ship meaning it wouldn’t get stolen That means we skip the medibugs which definitely come into play later especially the fusion one and we skip Panzy meaning she gets kidnapped and possibly tortured or has her life drained and once they learn that she’s the princess to the king of the 3rd demon world they will most likely go to his castle and raze the place now that changes things drastically depending on if the baddies get to the castle before Goku and Co If Goku gets there first they may have trouble with the guards or convincing the king of Goku’s strength with Panzy there to vouch for him and if they don’t get there first and the king is killed or captured who knows what that might mean we don’t entirely know why the 3rd King is so important to Glorio and Arinsu’s plans so him not trusting them or being captured by Gomah is a problem Also Gomah doesn’t know that Goku and Co are currently in the demon world if Goku gets into a huge confrontation with Gomah’s forces then he could take some drastic measures and since they didn’t get as much practice from having to fight all the time on their way Goku might not have enough ki control in his mini form to go Super Saiyan weakening him significantly and we don’t know if Gomah has any heavy hitters on his side that he would send after them Also Bulma is probably left behind and we don’t know how important she’ll be later but probably pretty important if she’s being included in the story at all and since machinery and traversal are so important they would definitely need her and I almost forgot but they may not find Glorio too suspicious without the interaction they had with the 3rd king meaning they could likely fall into any trap Arinsu is thinking up Looking at things like that I think Goku having a lot of detours is incredibly important for how the story may pan out Edit: I forgot that the 3rd King also gave them supplies for their journey and appears to have a vast intel network that they can use to hack into Gomah’s systems to potentially get intel or passwords or what have you which may also be how they plan to travel between demon worlds by gaining access from the king in order to go up to the next level
I'll say it. Daima is a very pretty and well-presented slog. The pacing is glacial for the most part and feels like a movie stretched into a series. It's cutesy and charming enough but it's not very interesting. If someone had offered the choice between Daima or a 40 episode Super revival covering the remaining arcs with Daima-level production (if perhaps not the same art style) I'd be taking the latter without a second thought.
We're over a third of the way to go through the show, so we better not have anymore stupid larping episodes with the generic episode formula. I swear, if episode 8 or 9 is the same stuff, I might legit quit on it
I think you are confused, Daima isn't going to be 20 episodes, it'll be longer than that. 20 episodes is just how many they had done in preproduction back when they announced that. I'm think Daima has potential to be longer than GT
This was unfortunately the worst episode of Daima, it completely hinges on you being invested in Panzy as character for her collar removal to be emotionally satisfying. The problem is we haven't seen her enough to care, and what little we do see leaves her feeling like a diet Bulma. Unfortunately Glorio's character isn't fairing much better, so i hope these characters get more moment's to shine before trying to cash in on emotional scenes later.
