Great vid and thanks for taking the time to do this - very informative. Just one observation and please don't think I'm being rude or take it personally. When selecting models I will always check if they have tat's - if so, I move on. I just find them too distracting and often ugly. Otherwise, beautiful model and lovely poses.
I totally agree Phillip. Tattoos take attention away from the face. I always try to employ models with no (or small) tattoos. Sometimes they get some between bookings so I don't know till they arrive for the shoot.
The flash settings are pretty much constant for this shoot. Flash on 1/4 power, ISO 200, F8 @1/125th sec. For outdoor shoots the camera and flash settings vary immensely for each situation so there is very little benefit in me listing them all. Just follow those two basic flash laws: "Keep your shutter speed below 1/200th sec" and "expose your camera for the background and set your flash exposure for your subject".

Yasmine (is that a spelling) - what a posture and figure! I love a straight back on a model - no ridges of shoulder blades, no slouching, shoulders at the same height... Not only looks good, but is also indicative of high self-discipline. And a redhead at that! As usual - great video from a masterful photographer, with useful tips and good information. Thank you!
Hi Dylan. I find that, when the model is seated or on the floor, you have the choice of viewpoint. You can either get down to eye level or shoot slightly down on them because the downward angle won't distort her legs very much. I can also zoom in for a head and shoulders shot which is usually better shot from slightly above. Also I tend to be a bit lazy and getting down low is painfull for my Knees.
Thank you again for all the help and expertise you have provided. You are the best.
I appreciate that Julio.
Great video once again. Thank you for your amazing work.
I'm glad you are enjoying them Julien.

As usual, excellent video, very informative. Awesome model too! Loved the part about you dancing 🤣😂🤣😂
One day I'll do a dance video. Thanks for your comment Marcelino.
It's 5am Saturday morning here in New York and thank you for this video 🙏🏿💪🏿
Morning Paige.
Great vid, very helpful as well as inspiring, thanks for that. May I ask for the large of your octa, and the used power of lighting? Greets
Hi Rainer. Thanks for your comment. I used a 120cm octabox. My flash power was approximately 1/4.
@@newcastlephotographycollege Thank so much
Would be nice to show your camera settings on each photo

Thank you for your comment Artur. Yes, Yasmine is a great model. It really helps to have someone like her in front of the camera.
What's Ur camera and lens
I mostly us a Nikon D5600 with a kit zoom lens.
I guess I missed it but why are you shooting down on your model so much around 10 minutes into the video?

Good
Thanks
Hair looks better to left side. The way you had it was what you call Billy goat beard
Thanks Anton for your feedback.
Good content but awful sound. If you use left and right channels to record two microphones you need to rebalance that in post.
I'm still learning this video stuff. Thanks for your feedback.
