A little bit more credit was deserved for Graham Gouldman. He, Eric Stuart, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley as 10cc were absolutely enormous in the 1970's and its a crying shame they broke up.
The most distinctive and defining voice of the last 50 years, Graham Nash. It doesn't matter what Graham sings it is immediately identifiable as Graham, legend in all our lifetimes.
That was GREAT! Graham your musical contributions to the world have truly been a gift and have given people all over the world a lot of enjoyment. Your album, "Songs for Beginners," is one of the best records EVER made. Thank you for being such a strong influence on so many people.
First saw The Hollies in 1967. They opened for Herman's Hermits. They were both Great. Wonderfully Glorious music. Don't hear that much anymore. It's out there but, ya gotta dig for it. 10CC would have been nice to see. Thanks Titanic Concerts!
I can't believe he didn't credit 'the kid''s name - Graham Gouldman is a songwriter's institution all by himself. Such a shame his later solo work was largely ignored here in America. The man is made of music.
I wish Graham would do some of the Hollie gems that were album cuts and B-sides: Honey and Wine, Hard Hard Year, When Your Lights Turn On, After the Fox.
"The boy" was the person who wrote "Look Through Any Window" and "Bus Stop," and Graham was recalling the conversation with him in which he asked Graham and Allen Clarke to record those two songs.

The 60s, everyday fantastic music. Not only the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, but also the Hollies.
Graham Gouldman great songwriter 👍😎

gibberish
Graham Gouldman is "the kid" who wrote "Bus Stop" was and is in 10CC and also wrote a little ditty "For Your Love"..... some kid....
The kid he was talking about who wrote the songs was none other than Graham Gouldman who later was a founding member of 10CC.
Thank You Graham, you still sound amazing. God Bless You for the memories.
This came out just as I left school, a great song and memory from my youth
What an iconic song from the great ‘60s!
Props to Graham for taking the lower part and letting the other guy do his high part. A man's got to know his limitations. And it worked great!
If it is nash it can only be the high part.
Well he's 82. You expect him to take the high parts?
Still has a great voice!

Great story! And now I must go down a Graham Gouldman rabbit hole...
and when you do you'll realize you're already there, just didn't know it...hilarious.
Excellent. One can see how the duo with David Crosby was brilliant.
Those back up band harmony vocals are amazing and so in tune
It was the Hollies' "speciality" Manchester's finest, when everyone else was looking at Liverpool.
Amazing song which still sounds amazing!

He did in concert. Saw him at Coolangatta.
Man oh man, takes me back immediately.... 💙💙💙
The Hollies never made a bad record.
He has the gift of the gab.
The kid was Graham Goldman, later of 10CC.
Graham Gouldman

Yes, I had a 10cc album, and met a member of the band in Ireland. And I had no idea. Imagine the royalties Gouldman has collected.
Love the harmonies
This was a great show!!!
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you My prayers have been answered, see you in April❤❤❤
I wish Graham would do some of the Hollie gems that were album cuts and B-sides: Honey and Wine, Hard Hard Year, When Your Lights Turn On, After the Fox.
Fantastic as always ❤
Be nice if he named Graham Gouldman’s name!!!
Saw Graham Nash at the Denver Botanic Gardens this past August. He did mention Graham Gouldman. Unfortunately, the concert was rain-shortened.
Hollie cow. What a nice song.
I really liked all the Hollies songs when they came out. I couldn't stand Herman's Hermits.
Graham Gouldman is such a great writer.
Classic!
Thanks!
Needs Alan Clark's vocal
Heard that his voice has gone. But what a voice he had.
@@chrisbennett1243he can still sing, but it's a different voice

It was Graham Gouldman
Manchester. Also Mr Postman
Don't know what the story about the boy is intended to be. Graham has great pipes, still.

BUS STOP❓ジャパニーズシンガー 平 工事❓
I thought this song was released by The Hollies after Graham Nash had left them.
@@waynemather6560 Bus Stop charted in 1966. Nash left in ‘68.
