This is a thing of beauty, a 64 year old piece of art. In 2087 I don't think there'll even be a 2023 car still running, but I bet this '59 will still be running and looking sharp.
I bought my first Impala in 1974 it was a 63 SS. It was originally a 409 car, but when I got it it had a base model 427 from a 67 Corvette, a 390 horse, with a power glide. You can't imagine how much I wish I still had it. It's still one of my favorites! PEACE ✌️
i live down the road from Paul and see him cruising down the highway in his different Impalas. They're all definitely head turners. Seen this one in person at car meet's before this work. Cant wait to see it now.
I love the unity in the effort you guys work together. That's in your blood. Yeah, I have a lot of great things that I love. Low riding when I was 12 years old, I'm 65 a day and I have a 1969 and Pala toodle hard top I love that car and I love to fix it up. You guys amaze me with the work you do and God bless you? I wanna be like you, o g's. You're a real old jeez. I've seen the blood much love Loretta's for life.
59 cat eye impala a true master piece a real priceless work of art. FIRME that car has all the upgrades from 1959 even the Felix the cat on the plate. Much Love & Respecto from California
My favorite, a '59 Chevrolet!! Y'all did a beautiful job!! Hopefully we can continue to bring in the young blood to continue the legacy which was created for us as kids to enjoy as adults 🙏.
The best of the best of what they do like a team and family. Having fun and professionalism. Best of build shows in my opinion🤙🏼I can’t get over the 59 color SWEET!
To me it's not just how beautiful and detailed the paint is. There is always a story or meaning to the car owner. But yeah, Also the insane amount of detail and love that goes into these cars is unmatched... There most likely is not a single owner who hasn't touched, seen, worked on, cleaned, or shined on every single square inch of their vehicle..
Just discovered you guys on velocity - been watching a bunch of episodes. Great work! Love the personalities and harmony. I'm subscribed now and a new fan. I especially love the attitudes and how you all seem to enjoy the experiences. So enjoyable...
Wow guy,s the 59 impala is a honey of a car ,,you all really do some cool work on the low riders ,, my sister and I use to cruise in a 64 Impala back in the 70,s ,,she's gone now but oh the memories,,,odalay la low riders esta muy bonito,,keep them cruising
I know it would look out of place but I want to do a lace up job on my lexus is I think it is one of the coolest paint jobs and the clear coat is almost all gone anyway
That's some fantastic work guys wish I can afford you guys work I don't have a old school like that tho.can I get a nice one done in the 10 thousand range or lower
that's probably the best 59 shorty's did in that show.... can't stop watching it over and over the same episode of the 59, viva la raza lowrider!! k-no!!!A🥚
That Mustang is bloody ugly, even after the upgraded mods. What were the designers thinking! The low rider is wonderful. Well done Shorty and your team
While watching this show, something kept nagging at me because I knew there was something wrong, but I couldn't immediately put my finger on it. Not soon after I found it - Shorty is racist. Let me explain. While working at Joe's shop from Iron Resurrection whenever a new Caucasian employee would start Shorty would bust his ⚾️🏀 relentlessly, but if the new guy was Puerto Rican he'd try to be as helpful as possible and once Shorty got his new show he hired nothing but Puerto Ricans. These are the facts, so if that doesn't scream racist then nothing does.
If that's your ideal of racism, you have had a very sheltered life sir. If you knew ANYTHING about Mr. Javier and his history with the car culture in this part of Texas, you would know that he carries no ill-will towards anyone. He is about cars and helping people to achieve their dreams and aspirations when it comes to preserving, restoring or resurrecting these often neglected classics. His clients and friends are a reflection of that passion. He obviously selected a crew that he considers "family" and that would help him to get the shop (and the show) off the ground. There are many sacrifices that people have to make so that these shows even have a chance to get selected for wider distribution and some people won't even consider it making those sacrifices. You're generalization speaks more to your short-sided nature and perhaps ignorance about race in general, and humanity as a whole quite frankly. Not a criticism sir, just an observation I guess. Enjoy your life...and hopefully, the show, because it shows a labor of love being done by true craftsmen, who enjoy doing what they love with people that they love being around everyday. Who can find fault with that?
If you dont know him not really fair to say that. Even if he was..so what? He can hire who he wants which is the beauty of self employment. I certainly avoided doing biz with certain types for a reason.
THEY CUT THE REAR N FRONT CYLINDER HOLES WITH A PLASMA INSTEAD OF A $10 HOLE SAW!!! DIDNT POWDER COAT THE RACK AND DIDNT PAINT THE BATTERIES??? CHEAP DUMPS TO BOOT. SMH 🤦♂️
@tyronechatman2592 The Toyota Rear Ends are cool if you can't afford a Currie and want a shortened boxed in chrome rear for an affordable price...Ive had a few and I never had issues and preffer em over the posi
Lowriders are on another level. Sure you have extreme super cars and luxurious cars, but Lowriders are works of art .

The frame itself wasn’t “wrapped” reinforced?
chrome is never good on white cars..
That 59 isnt white, ligt/dark green.
