Congratulations, Aliko Dangote for all of the hard work that you , your family, and staff have performed on behalf of your goals, and mission. May God continue to bless you, your family, staff and Africa and it's people.
You need to bring in people from Dangote Industries Limited to talk about their refinery. The project manager and the operations manager for the refinery will be better equipped to answer your questions.

Direct and frank answers - no posturing or playing to the gallery - from an eminently qualified guest speaker. Underscores the continuing reality: that all the answers and solutions are not hidden, and do not require rocket science. Always boils down to two things: 1. Is there the will in appropriate quarters to do what needs to be done? 2. Can private self-serving interests be set aside, for once, and these solutions vigorously pursued? On a more positive note, it is now clear that Nigeria needs, is long overdue for a distinct Mid-stream of Pipeline Operators, separate and distinct from the E&P operators! Thanks to Dr. Ihetu for candid, experience driven insights and to Rufai, for an excellent interview.
Dangote refinery is a for profit privately owned company, he will buy crude at the international price in dollars, and will sell crude to any willing buyer at the international price in dollars. So prices will go down when the international price drops and will go up when the price goes up. Its called the free market. The only other way the price can come down is if the exchange rate between the Naira and the dollar improves. Tinubu made a big mistake in floating the Naira. Now putting it in perspective if 1USD is over a 1000 Naira, then 600 Naira is about 60 cents which means you are paying about 2.4 dollars a gallon which is still globally quite cheap. Note the guest did not explicitly say it but corruption is why crude is stolen, pipelines not working, and the 4 refineries are not working. Until Nigerians tackle corruption nothing will work properly. Naija we hail thee an upside down abnormal Country

Nigeria does not necessarily have to sell to dangote and other refineries at exact crude oil price. Marginal reduction could help cushion higher pms prices especially
What's the public got to do about details of what a new refinery is doing if not that Nigeria has become a theatre of the absurd. I don't think the public's anxiety was pushed to the limits in the 60s and 70s when Portharcourt, Warri and Kaduna refineries were built and commissioned.

Great comment, however, Tinubu had no choice, but to float the Naira because this country is broken.
