*Great for a family of 2 or 3. It cooks quinoa, white, jasmine **MyBest.Kitchen** and brown rice really well. Easy to clean and store because of the size. We haven't used the steamer part of it yet.*
Cooks frozen pea beans soft veg .. but rubbish for hard root veg. If you take the (lethal sharp edge) tray out, the bottom fills up with water from the steam & leaves carrots, new potatoes etc half boiled on bottom & hard on top.. it’s a shame because the glass dish, lid & stainless steel components is great to get away from plastic. Looks great on your countertop but waste space if not functional. either mine is not working properly, which seems a common review issue or Cuisinart Designer manufacturers only eat soft foods.. Dissatisfied 😢
I have to wonder how much of your hair ended up in the dinner ? We were taught to tie our hair back when cooking. With the bok choy I cut in half because once bought from a supermarket as I washed it I saw blue l pellets stuck in its center turning my hands blue. It did get returned to the supermarket
i wouldn't use something like this for rice, unless it comes with a separate plate for cooking rice. if you want to cook rice the steaming way , i would just suggest getting a rice cooker.
@@twitch_tv_pat But according to the instruction booklet it does say white rice "Placed in ovenproof vessel, tightly covered with lid or foil and placed on steaming tray" not very clear instructions

How do you clean inside of the container? I can't get rid of the spots inside it.
My one month old steamer begins to spit out water instead of steam. How do I fix it?

If you loss your hair so much call the doctor. It is not ok if you have to tie your hair back so it would not ended up in the food 🤦
But it doesn't show the result??? 😂 Wtf?
Bizarre! Why would you do a video and not show the results!
How to steam rice in there since the tray has too big of open spaces on it?

Comment faire cuire du riz!!! C’est quand même le minimum pour un cuiseur vapeur dit professionnel et haut de gamme! Je n’ai pas trouvé.

yes there is a book inside
So done with tiny digital menus with endless scrolling lists. I want low tech or nothing.
What's the height of the glass tray itself? My bowls are 3 inches high, will they fit inside if I need to heat up my leftovers?
very very nice product.
you mean the looks? please be more specific and helpful. thanks
What kind of filet is that?
Can you steam without using the stainless tray ?
no , you would want the steam to come up from the bottom it wouldn't be cooked properly with out it.
@@twitch_tv_pat Doesn't the steam come from the top on this particular steamer?
There’s also no way to clean the water reservoir so when the film builds up I guess you have to just buy another one ?
Please email MarketingCommunications@cuisinart.com so we can better assist you.
Lol
I need a cookbook for this as I lost mine. I can’t find it and I need a chart for how long to cook everything. Help!
