A very ‘ meaty ‘ play that kept up the suspense until the end. So well performed and clear diction makes this play a gold star winner. Can not thank you enough for the privilege of hearing these gems. Brenda
😊😊
Couldn't have put it better myself 😊
Fantastic acting & story
Brilliant play 😊
Thank you Arch, you regularly make an old lady very happy. 🌹
That was bloody good 👍🏾 WOW 😂 I put this on as a bedtime story 😂 hoping I’d drift off to lala land 😂😂😂😂 I’ve been up every second of the way how can anyone fall to sleep with these great stories
That's what I thought I'd do. Listen to this story and fall asleep soon after. But after reading your comment, this radio drama may be too good to fall asleep to so easily! We'll see. Thanks for your comment. We both clearly use these great old shows for comfort and restful sleep at night. It's been a practice of mine for years! UA-cam has so many choices to drift off to.
Ticks along at a good pace.
Very listenable.
Very good. Thank you.
A riveting tale from start to finish, I can't believe how quick it went. Thanks
Superb suspense.
I’ve heard this play before, and thought it was brilliant then and enjoyed it again. The actors were wonderful. Thankyou for sharing.
Very good and highly enjoyable, there was suspense right down to the last two minutes. Thanks for the upload.

I really didn’t have time to listen to the whole thing today, but.... no way could I turn that off. Let the world adjust itself, when one of these magnificent radio programs come on. Thank you so much!
Excellent!
A very cleverly well designed plot! I hadn’t a clue before it was revealed. Thank you so much for posting Arch 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍

wonderful, and excellent sound quality. love the reassuringly solid sergeant - very dixon!
A “legal” thriller w more than one leg to stand on. Brrrhhh!!! Had heard it once before, years ago, but forgot the particulars. Many thanks for the upload, Arch.
Enjoyed listening to this in bath
Thoroughly good listen. Ty
Thanks Arch 🙋♂️ Our sort of play 👍
lovely
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Brilliant
William Lucas sounds so much like Anton Lesser. A very good play, enjoyed it.
Great thanks.
Thanks for this one Arch, I really enjoyed it. Take care.x
Thank you for uploading this brilliant drama.
great story.thanks.x
Really enjoyable!!!
Wow
Good old BBC worth the licence fee on it's own
Thanks Arch for all your uploads.. Do readers of this realise that picture you used here is from the Harry Roberts killing of three policemen in west London in 1966? Worth looking up if you unaware.
I was about to mention this then I saw your post yes it’s braybrook st East Acton I often used to stop at PC Geoff Fox’s grave in Mortlake cemetery to pay some respect whilst the Mrs attended her nans grave 👍🏻
@@lomate1963 Hi Lomate, thanks for that. Being a Sarf London boy I could not immediately recall the road but now I remember it was Braybrook Road. Good for you for wandering over to see PC Fox's grave. 👍🏻 I've been living in Asia these past 25 years and still miss London and the UK, which is why I'm also an Arch fan. Good luck to you and keep well.
Thought that was it 😊 still very good and Interesting the Scott character came across as rather Nieve though 🤔
Very enjoyable and ule have no idea who the baddy is til the very end. 8/10
Thanks Arch! I was hoping for another Michael Robson play, so I was thrilled to see your post.
So was I!! Thanks, Arch!
Sounds like Imelda Staunton in this one. This is a good one.
Glad you enjoyed it
Enthralling from start to finish.
What was the point of Bradley?
i've listened to the end 3 times and i still don't get it. the one who 'did it' would have known him
👏👏👏👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Does anyone know what happened to the actors an actresses? I see the guy that's channel it is has took a break. I really enjoy his content😢. He left alot of good stuff.
A good listen and well acted. The ending was very disappointing though.
This play should have been called "Red herrings"...
He sounds like Richard Dawkins ..
POSSIBLE SLIGHT SPOILER AHEAD: I'll try to word this w/o giving anything away but I'm frustrated bc I stayed w/this until the end hoping that I was wrong & that my time would be rewarded but alas no. It could've been so much better with just a little reworking instead of being so dreadfully obvious. No reflection on you OF COURSE Arch! Ty just the same as always!
Thanks Teda for articulating so tactfully my own feelings, of having wasted my time!
It was a little obvious, but the journey was worthwhile 🙂
I agree was obvious😮
Excellent up until the last 10 minutes. Then the writer produces a very unlikely
rabbit out of a hat as the solution .Very disappointing. There was no way the listener
could have solved the mystery from the clues given.
Better suited for half an hour as points were clearly made, then endlessly and boringly repeated. Suspense, no - Tedious, absolutely.
Really annoying main character 🙄 can't stand his voice .good story though
What a waste of time!
Excellent!
