This just popped up on my feed. I have never watched it before and will never watch it again. First, I want to tell that mom that she is so wrong not supporting her daughter more. She has the right not to want her ex-boyfriend around even though he is the father. He cheated, so I don't blame her for not wanting him around. He messed it up, not her. I would be proud of my daughter for not putting up with a cheater. If he does it again, is she supposed to forgive him again???? She needs someone in her delivery who is supportive and can help her through this procedure, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be the ex or the mother. I feel sorry for the girl. She is still a child, and she needs support.
Mom sounds like she's been a cheater in her past relationships. Or she took back a cheater and is trying to justify to herself how someone should throw away their self-respect to give someone another chance. Sad she's trying to teach her own daughter this. I LOVE that the daughter is not having any of it 😂
Mom, part of being mature is setting your own boundaries and not letting anyone overstep them without consequence. Part of growing up is learning that it isn't about "moving on," "not living in the past," or "forgiveness" It's about holding your self-worth above others' demands of you.
0:30 The daughter just explained IN HER OWN WORDS exactly that - did she not?? There was absolutely no need for the mum to comment "correcting" her in such a belittling way 🙄
Forgiving somebody that hurt you and pushing your boundaries down does not make you a grown-up. Making you a grown-up is realizing your wants and needs and not living somebody disrespect your boundaries.
I do see where the mom is coming from a little bit because she gonna unfortunately have to deal with him for the next 18 years at least and a toxic co-parent relationship can not only effect the parents but their daughter aswell. That being said there is no excuse for cheating

Once a cheater always a cheater
Mom needs to learn, sometimes when a person shows you who they are, believe them.

Mom just doesn't want to be stuck with the baby so she will push her daughter with anyone. Sad. Im with the daughter.
I'm on the duaghter's side, I wouldn't want a cheating ex to be there regardless if he's the father
