With the launch of the new Avenger 220 Cruise, Bajaj has expanded its reach to a bigger audience. The Avenger 220 Cruise has been positioned as a leisure cruising motorcycle thanks to a host of cosmetic updates and better ergonomics to give a fresh lease of life.
The Avenger 220 Cruise continues with the typical cruiser styling of the previous model, though a healthy dose of chrome gives it a distinct traditional character. The low slung seat, long wheelbase, new windshield and new sweptback handlebars improve its comfort during long hauls. The fuel tank carries the brand new insignia, along with flashy chrome decals. Other updates include a softer seat, wider rear tyre, redesigned mirrors, spoked chrome wheels and a chrome cover for the oil cooler. The instrument console now gets a digital display along with an analogue speedometer.
The Avenger 220 Cruise continues to use the tried and tested 220cc DTS-i engine from the Pulsar 220. This single-cylinder oil-cooled mill delivers 19bhp and 17Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. The engine has been tuned to offer better low-end and mid-range torque, to improve the motorcycle’s usability in the cities. It also gets a new high bass silencer for a louder and distinct exhaust note.
The Avenger 220 Cruise is available in a single divine black paint scheme. As a sub-Rs 1 lakh cruiser, the Avenger 220 Cruise doesn’t have any rivals in the motorcycle segment.
Bajaj Avenger Street 220 Overview
The Bajaj Avenger 220 will be available in two variants - Cruise and Street variants. Bajaj has kept the basic design of the Avenger unchanged and new one is now available in two variants - Street and Cruise. The Street variant sees additions in the form of an all- black paint scheme with red highlights, mag wheels, black exhaust, black painted engine, new grab rail, new instrument cluster and much more. Now these changes might remind you of the Harley Street 750 but we guess that was the idea. The 220cc Bajaj Avenger is capable of putting out 18.76bhp and developing 17.5Nm of torque. The 220 Street comes with a bit more chrome on it and the headlamps, side grabs and a handlebar are all dipped in it.

Oh yeah ......130 kmph ....i have Avenger street .and even i have touched 130 ...but every one says ki ye nahi ho sakta ...115 is top speed ........but now 130 is on video 😊😊😊
