if anyone has stomach disorder, one thing they should avoid is cooker rice (rice cooker or pressure cooker). If you boil lentil or rice in lot of water and discard the boiled water after it is fully cooked, your stomach disorder will be minimized when consuming dal or rice. Consuming the rice / dal cooked water will cause so much digestive distress if you dont have strong digestive system especially if you are not very physically active. Dr CKN has himself asked only to consume parboiled rice which has been been cooked and drained.
