yeah me too im 26 years :D little more later i see it but im happy for that too i try to finish this game when i was kid so much times and i never finish it her only i goto level 3 and the game becomes so hard for that i never finish it her but the game is cool i love the music in the start on the first level :) i still remember her so good game
I love how the ending of Batman murdering the Joker would be a problem conflicting with the vast majority of Batman canon except this game was so hard that only 42 people ever saw it in 1990.
@@darthzod7537Batman literally wanted to beat Joker to a gruesome death in the movie . He knew that shoot-tying the rope onto Joker's leg would let him lose grip of ladder to fall to his demise .
I would have been around 3 when this game came out. I remember playing this game in '89 or '90 but it was so hard and I never got passed the first boss. I hope I can find a copy of this game, put it in and play it until I finally beat it. When they played this game on James and Mike Mondays some years back, James finally beat it and Mike said to him "Its like a chapter of your life has finally come to an end", or something like that. Maybe I'll get there too some day.
One: I would love to see Rocksteady do a HD remaster of this. This game with Arkham graphics, but with the smooth control of the NES version would be quite good. Two: Batman for Smash.
First boss is Killer Moth who is a Batman villian introduced I believe in the 1950s or 60s. Second to last boss is FireBug who was in the comic series as well and of course Joker at the end.
I never noticed before but watching this all of those little robot drones, the mines on the floor, and a few others were recycled from Blaster Master. I guess it makes sense since both games are from the same company.
One of the best NES titles of all time! However, I always found the ending hilarious where Batman throws the Joker off the clock tower. Everybody knows that Batman doesn't kill criminals, he just beats the crap out of them and brings them to justice. Aside from that, I still love that game!
Man, for some reason game really reminds me of the first TMNT for NES... Similar background assets, the pick-ups and attacks look similar, not to mention the sound effects...
I used to both love and hate this game as a teen. Took me a while to win it. Remember in the movie when Batman fights those giant leaping mutants in the sewer, dinosaur tanks in the caves, then throws Joker off the building despite his anti-killing creedo? Neither do I...lol
I was good at this game. I finished this no deaths , but no so fast . I even finished this game bare hands using no wepons , just using bomerang for the boss before the joker, but takes me 2 or 3 continues. I know its hard to believe , but is True. I will try to make a video of this someday
I've seen both of those films more than once, and i've never seen him kill, injure and incapacitate yes, but not kill. You might have to provide examples.
lunavixen015 in the batting scene he fires on the platform with machine guns and kills eight joker henchmen. He also throws the ninja guy down a belfry like 10 stories to his death. This is in the 1989 Keaton film
One of the best music in NES games
Pony Slaystation No kidding... this soundtrack really impressed me! Certainly one of the greatest NES soundtracks I've ever heard.
Pony Slaystation I agree that the stage 1 music is awesome.
Yeah... Nostalgic feeling music
Yes but the best music in NES belongs to Megaman 2
Yeah, i like this music
wow this game was extra hard im glad i finally saw the ending after 23 years lol
whitetrouter yeah i never finished this when was a child too haha
Yeah i finish it just 2 time the joker is really hard to beat
Same here... It was so hard !!!
yeah me too im 26 years :D little more later i see it but im happy for that too i try to finish this game when i was kid so much times and i never finish it her only i goto level 3 and the game becomes so hard for that i never finish it her but the game is cool i love the music in the start on the first level :) i still remember her so good game
this game has got to have one of the all time greatest NES soundtracks.. i'd put it right there with Castlevania.
And silver surfer.
Daniel John Clement rygar and ninja gaiden too
Wow you liked Usian Bold finish this at a time like that
This music is so good
That last punch was classic..🤣🤣
I could never get passed the executioner boss. and you went through the whole game like a hot knife through butter. RESPECT!
La música de este juego es inolvidable. Una joya de Nintendo.
I love how the ending of Batman murdering the Joker would be a problem conflicting with the vast majority of Batman canon except this game was so hard that only 42 people ever saw it in 1990.
It's from the movie. He kills the Joker in the 1989 movie.
@@shawn576 Not on purpose.

loved stage 1's music back when this game first came out, thanks once again for the nostalgia
The game and the music takes me back.....I use to play this hours on end
I didn't know that if you hit enemies, you can go through them. Way to go, man.
one of the best nes games. it doesnt get enough love
I could never get past that boss where the room was shooting at you from everywhere
dude this game drove me nuts as a kid
I couldnt beat the joker at all
This game brings back so many memories. Thanks!
This game has some beautiful soundtracks 🔥🔥
Impressive! This game was HARD!
This game was hard but becomes easy when you learn the tricks.
This is an excellent NES game.. always enjoyed it, one of the most fun 40 NES games imo..
Respect...this is one hard game to master ..let alone speedrunning it!
Along with Godzilla: Monster Of Monsters, the best NES music.
Congrats in this video.
So... the whole plot was actually a quest of revenge that ends in sweet, sweet murder?
And also saving Gotham city from Joker's rule and terrorism .
yeah level 2 music I still remember. one of the best looking games too

This is exactly like the movie
+M. A. Packer As far as I'm concerned this IS the movie.
The graphics were pretty freaking awesome for its time
when i was a kid it took me forever to beat this game (mostly due to joker), so it's kind of funny to see someone beat it in less than 12 minutes.
for 18 years i remembred the sound track and forgot the game, i remember everything now
That 4th stage has some megaman worthy music...
All Nes soundtracks are very similar, but even yet, I love alllll of then!
One of the toughest game with awesome sounds
As much as I loved this game growing up on it, it has never ceased to bother the shit out of me that Batman has a frickin' gun in his inventory here.

Excellent run!
Must have sneaked passed the ESRB. Wait, they didn't exist back then. Ahh good times.
wow how games have been getting better
Good run. This game was hard AF.
"I know you murdered my parents. Now you will dance with the devil in the pale moonlight." - Batman the poet.
"Never rub another man's rhubarb"
I never noticed before but watching this all of those little robot drones, the mines on the floor, and a few others were recycled from Blaster Master. I guess it makes sense since both games are from the same company.
LMAO! I love how Batman just flat out kills Joker at the end. Just throws his ass off the church. Fantastic.
Best soundtrack ever made
Very Good Veryyyy Nice 👌 Excellent 👌.........
I Love His Batman Nes Game From My Childhood Before 2011.....
Batman himself is like pussycat before people who survive this hell
I remember this game... so many memories.
All of my friends, I was only one who had completed this game but now seems I haven't been completed this game yet..
One of the best NES titles of all time! However, I always found the ending hilarious where Batman throws the Joker off the clock tower. Everybody knows that Batman doesn't kill criminals, he just beats the crap out of them and brings them to justice. Aside from that, I still love that game!
The force is strong with this one!!!
You sir are a legend....
Man, for some reason game really reminds me of the first TMNT for NES...
Similar background assets, the pick-ups and attacks look similar, not to mention the sound effects...
I do believe I just witnessed The Nerd's salvation. Fantastic run! Also.. was that a companion cube? O_o
AAAAAAASSSS!!!
ياحصراه شحال كنت نحبها ووصلت حتى لمرحلة الأخيرة...
spent 2 hours on the last level and it kicked my ass. my thumbs too sored to keep going.
this is a good game played it every Saturday when I as a youth.
did Batman just commit murdere?
it's entirely possible the bad guy managed to remove the explosive, not likely but possible, and yes, i did forget about that scene
The game is made by Sunsoft. They also made for example Journey to Silius, Gremlins 2 and Uforia, all with great music =)
6:45 best song of this game. My child hood game.
very nice speedrun
wow he sure did murder joker in the end there didnt he?
Frank Rocha Yeah, it's based on the Tim Burton movie where Batman occasionally just kills people.
Unlike in any other movie adaptation since. ;P
WOW! Only in an 8 bit Nintendo game, would the Joker have command of lightening lol You gotta love those old games.
You are a boss at this game
People act like Sunsoft didn’t have a stable of bangers back in the day
I hated those frogmen. I could never get past the joker. This guy makes it look so easy.
Allthose Sunsoft games had sick ass music and level design in their games.
Trilha sonora inesquecível
My friend was like 6 or 7 when he got this game for christmas and we could never beat the second boss.
He threw Joker off the top of a building? What happened to justice?
I used to both love and hate this game as a teen. Took me a while to win it. Remember in the movie when Batman fights those giant leaping mutants in the sewer, dinosaur tanks in the caves, then throws Joker off the building despite his anti-killing creedo? Neither do I...lol
He used turbo im currently playing this game on my nes and I cant tap the start button that fast to switch items
yeah he use turbo
Still remember this game.... :)
wow!! It's crazy game playing ever seen.
Jogou o fino. Parabéns!!!
I played this as a kid and its definitely not as easy as it looks, especially the wall climbing without hitting anything
Sound tracks are great
Killing second boss with punches was awesome
1:40 Seems we both are same kind of people😁
*Edited:* 11:50 Damn Dude!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ahh the 80's, when murdering the bad guy made you a hero ... good times :D
I was good at this game. I finished this no deaths , but no so fast . I even finished this game bare hands using no wepons , just using bomerang for the boss before the joker, but takes me 2 or 3 continues. I know its hard to believe , but is True. I will try to make a video of this someday
Why is everyone always taller than Batman?
I don't even think developers could beat the games they were making.
Oh! my my my childhood please take young era of mine and all the wealth too against of a moment of my childhood.
Watch the Burton Batman films... He kills dozens. Both in 89 and Returns.
Good run.
I miss the game over song, the one I had listened to the most back then hahahahaha
Так быстро босы не мрут. Второй бос прям все три фазы за три удара
11:51 lol
The Rom on my phone has more enemies in the most inconvienent places and they don't die as easy as in this run...
Best gameplay
I've seen both of those films more than once, and i've never seen him kill, injure and incapacitate yes, but not kill. You might have to provide examples.

Batman never tries to kill anyone... guess it didn't matter back then
Guy makes this look easy.
Nice Liger!
glad boss 1 didnt ruin run. he tends to hang up there and not go down.
So Batman attempts to kill the Joker at the end? Ha! I like this Batman.
Joker is about 8 feet tall.
And they lived happily ever after!
...
except the Joker.....
Why does batman fight The Shredder? Is it an 80s thing?
Yes he did.
Wow you are a pro!
Mi infancia :(
oh that soundtrack!!
Omg what a hard game good job.
