Loved this, Danny. This guy is spot on. I've seen this shit and it's real and it's fucking ice cold terrifying. I dont find this idea hard to believe. I dont think the notion that the universe is mind / consciousness would mean that nothing is real, but perhaps rather that what we generally consider to be 'real' or 'material' is instead a kind of conscious self-simulation of such infinitely precise fidelity as to make it, well, perfectly real (for all intents and purposes). Kind of like a dream that is so clear, it feels convincingly like waking reality. Maybe the mind we exist in has an unlimited capacity to create, while the thoughts in our own minds, for whatever reason, are effectively limited. Of course, I could be wrong about all of this, but, hey, it's fun to consider... More fun than just saying, yeah, yeah, give me a break.......

The one component that is not mentioned in terms of.the human makeup is self interest. All of us are also highly competitive and not easily willing to embrace someone else’s idea.
