    I so agree with you. I tell parents this all the time, especially telling your child is so smart. It goes along with everyone gets a trophy.

    THATS so important topic Susan! Thank you for bringing it up. I agree that giving cliche feedback -“ good job” etc. but what good did I do?
    Students might be thinking. Explaining them what they did and provide a new word I.e. that’s perseverance you mentioned in your vlog that makes a chance for them to learn new vocabulary and it would stay in their memory longer and they will connect the specific situation to that word that’s for sure. Balance is the key as well. Thanks a bunch Susan❤️

    Thank you for the video! Absolutely true, we have to give specific feedback, indeed. Can you please give more examples of how to word feedback for behaviour we want students to change?

    I agree with avoid “u r so smart” coz the others in the class not getting similar feedback may begin to resent the achiever or getting the message she/ he is teacher’s favourite whole I am not
